Kirai and Detached

Hi, I have a querry about Detached on kirai.

Detached: Crews containing this model may hire Spirits from any Factions at no additionnal cost during Scraps or Brawls. During Scraos, any non-Spirit model gains Rare 1 when hired by this crew.

I was wondering if I hire Sebastian and a dog with Kirai. My dog would become Rare1 during the Hire phase. But i was wondering does he keep it during the game. If i does it means that Sebastian can only summon one after the one i have hired is killed.

Just wondering. I might be missing something in the wording or not but i would like to trie a different Kirai list and i would like to clarify this.

You can't summon any new dogs as long as the original one is in play. If that dies you can summon as many as you like though. It's a bit weird.

Cool Thanks that is the way i was reading it but being French i tought maybe i read it wrong.
