ooberallen Posted May 30, 2012 Report Share Posted May 30, 2012 (edited) When: Saturday June 16th from noon - 6pm Where: Thou Shalt Game: 27314 Jefferson Avenue Temecula, CA Entry Fee: $10 Details: This is a 1 day event designed help newer players learn the ins and outs of the game. The format is that of a slow grow league and will take place over the course of 3 rounds starting with 15ss, 20ss, and 20ss. Restrictions: - No avatars. - Players are limited to models from their master's boxed sets plus one additional in faction, non henchman, model not included in their boxed set. IE: Viktoria players may take ONE ronin. Totems are exempt from this restriction. - Summoning masters are allowed 1 blister of summonables. IE: Nicodem can have 1 blister of Mindless Zombies. However, if your master's boxed set includes models that you can summon, you will be able to summon whatever you do not include in your lists. IE: Som'er's box comes with 4 gremlins, if you chose to take 2 gremlins, that will leave you with 2 more you can also summon. As your summoned models die you may summon additional ones. Using the example above, if Som'er has 4 gremlins in play he may not summon again until those that are in play are killed off. -For your second 20ss game you may not take the exact same list as you took in your first 20ss game. Think of these restirctions as building a pool of models then choosing the ones you want to use each game. Win/loss record is less relevant in this event. Instead players will be given a sheet of achievements they can earn throughout the course of the event. Standings will be determined by achievement points.
