Width of truck (rail to rail) : 5 cm / 2 Inches Height of loco: 12.5 cm / 5 Inches Length of loco: 25.5 cm / 10 Inches Height of caboose: 9.5 cm / 3.8 Inches Length of caboose: 15 cm / 5.9 Inches Size of door in caboose: 4.7 cm / 2 Inches Length of coal wagon: 14.3 cm / 5.7 Inches Height of coal wagon: 7 cm / 2.7 Inches Width of coal wagon: 6cm / 2.4 Inches Thanks Leigh Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Probably the best thing to do is bring a model with you and set it next to the train to see how it looks. I keep a piece of cardboard in my pocket with Seamus traced on it for just such an occasion. From what I've found out you'd want Gauge 0 if you want it to be the same scale as the models, but as it's been point out you wouldn't really be able to play on it. I think it's G scale that is better suited. I haven't made any purchases myself, something I'm still looking into. Fettster Posted October 6, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 6, 2011 Yeah, I come from Railway modelling as my first foray into modelling as a lad, so I get the scale stuff, but 'real-size' is never gameable. Hopefully this train will look right which is far more important. I'll post some pictures with figures when it arrives. Keeping my fingers crossed! The style looks very similar to one I picked up at a dollar store around christmas and used on my display board.
