Bravoure
Jack has a very small and very weak connection to his base and is already about to break off just a couple days after buying him. Anyone have suggestions for alternate ways to model him on a base more securely? I considered actually hanging him, but it will be difficult on a small base. razide
I had the same problem with the JackDaw. When pushing it into the base slot I felt it bend at that tiny foot to base connection and could see that it wouldn't take much to completely snap it off. I then decided to snap it before attempting anymore painting beyond a base coat and secured it by pinning through the long extended foot and the horizontal base tab. Then reinforcing with superglue. The sculpter deserves a pad on the back for a fantastic model and also a smack on the back of the head for that idioticly weak join.
