Dire Hoarcat Snuggler
Who: Malifaux players, new and experienced What: Malifaux tournament, 20/25/30 Soulstones, fixed missions & tables When: June 26th, 2010 @ 12:00 PM Where: Tucson, AZ @ Hat's Games http://maps.google.com/maps?client=safari&rls=en&q=hat's%20games&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wl Why: MAAALLLLIIIIFFFAAAUUUUUUUXXX!!! Rules: One master only, crews are built after missions are revealed, so bring a selection fit for any of the strategies in the book! Proxies are allowed, but representations of characters and minions must be appropriate, and spelled out for opponents! Bases must be the appropriate size dictated by the book. Painting is not necessary, but will be judged! Strategies will be determined for all games by round. Schemes will be mandatory, at a fixed number each round. Each table will be of a designated type with terrain features clearly labeled, with a fixed game effect for each table. Rounds will last 90, 90, and 120 minutes each, giving plenty of time for set-up and resolution. Time will be called 15 minutes before the end of each round so that the judge(s) has/have plenty for time for scoring and next-round pairing. Your five dollar entry fee pays the pot for prize support. Best Overall Master will earn a fixed reward of store credit. You will earn points for games won (+2) and tied (+1), best painted (+2/+1), best general (+2/+1), and best sportsman (+2/+1). Each point earns you a ticket in the lottery at the end, and we'll draw for prizes at the end! Remember, the more people we have, the better the prize support! See you guys there! ~Jeremy~ P.S. - Try to remember to bring your updated FAQ documents so you won't need instructions on how to properly play your own crew! Mr_Smigs
when you say schemes mandatory, does that mean the TO will be assigning schemes and scenarios, or that the players will be picking them, just expected to pick a set number each round?
