El Indio
Wow, I love that rooftop base you did for Nino. What did you use for it, if I may inquire/beg shamelessly?
themurphyfella
The roof bases are using some bits out of an old box of Mordihiem
themurphyfella
Forgot to mention I also started work on a Sonia Criid alt model It's from the painting challenge competition years ago That might be back burner as I joined up the local shop's painting competition. For my figure I got a Black ork shaman on a boar. It'll be split into 2 figures. An Ork Wyrdboy for 40K and a Warpig for my gremlin crew. Progress shots. Promise
themurphyfella
Gto a run at assembly and priming of some models this weekend. Some Malifaux and some not New Ork Wyrdboy, trying to figure out a base The warboar from the ork shaman above is going to be a Malifaux pig. The base needed some extension as I only had the smaller base on hand and all my Gremlins are on these bases. So I crossed my fingers and took a run at adding to the base. Quiet proud of my pretty basic efforts GW empire figure that will be a proxy for the gunsmith I think Had to repair the austringer. Meant getting a pin that runs from the birdy all the way into the arm and had to have a small bend on the pin at the birdy end. Pretty horrible hack job as the pin broke the surface on the bird legs but it will be had to make out once I get it painted and varnished again Avatar incoming. Got Lady J all pinned and assembled for painting. I'm thinking I'll keep the wings separate for painting as they are very close to the body when they are assembled. What to do for a base though, that is the question. I'm tempted to magnetise the wings and the base to make it easier to transport. Getting something to stick to those tiny little feet might be "interesting" At the moment I'm thinking of a Ram/crow themed ying yang symbol on the base but it's not winning the war for my enthusiasm. Any suggestions welcome LOOOT. The Limited edition goodness. They tyrant only knows when I'll get around to painting these but step one is get 'em out of the plastic

themurphyfella
Nice pace you have going , also nice job . LOL I wish the pace was steady. It's a lot of stop and start between bouts of "Life" and motivation. This was the "get things ready" bout. With a bit of luck I'll paint the ork and boar..... hang on I've missed the completion date for that competition...... DOH
