They just came through the breach, they are fresh off the train, and now they are looking to make a name for themselves in Malifaux! Make a crew and team up with one of 14 Fated characters as they venture through 3 encounters trying to make a place for themselves in Malifaux. Check out the details below: Where? Dragon's Lair Comics 2227 N 91st Plz Omaha, Ne 68104 (402) 399-9141 When? May 2nd aka Free Comic Book Day! (get your free comics while you are at the event!) Time? The first encounter starts off at 11am sharp, get there early for a sneak peek at the encounters and full rules Cost? $5 gets you in and that will also get you one free miniature you get to keep! Rules This will be a story encounter, but unlike many story encounters, there is no attacker or defender. Crews must be fixed faction and fixed list, in other words, you use the same list for the whole event. If you are wondering what the strategies and schemes are to make your list, don't worry, the encounters will host 3 new strategies and 6 new schemes. Crew must be 35ss and Henchmen led. Proxies are allowed for models not released as long as they are correctly based and other proxies at the TO's (that is me) approval. There will be 3 rounds. All players that enter get a free model and will be playing to win more! Snacks will there. It is also Free Comic Book Day, so there will be lots of specials in the store. DISCLAIMER!! Please leave your serious gaming style at home, you will not need it for this event. Winning prizes will be based off actions taken in game and scoring bonuses with the between round quiz. As proof to how laid back this event is, one of the Fated has a Tactical Action called "Hey, I just met you" which will give you the condition "And this is crazy". Limited Room Unlike many of my event, the very nature of this event is limited to 14 players. If you want to save a spot in the event, please response here. Part 1 None of the Strategies or Schemes use Scheme markers, keep that in mind when making your crew. If you are going to try and use them, don't count on your opponent helping out. This means even the Insignificant models can do the actions, but Peons will still not be that useful. Henchmen, Enforcers, and Minions in 2 will be the key to scoring.
