Wessex
So I bought a selection of resin bases last week so that I can finally get to work on Ramos, however I have never worked with resin before. What's the best way to wash and dry them? The cobblestone bases don't have much detail besides the cobbles, but I brought some scrap one for use as scrap markers and I'm wary of water or soap getting stuck in the recesses of the detail. Jonasty
I just wash them with a little dish soap and water. Rinse them good and let them air dry, you'll have no issues. If you're looking to wash and then prep right away I'd just make sure to rinse them well. Resin has proven to be hardy stuff so I wouldn't worry overly much. osoi
I wash all my resin in a general purpose degreaser (also trips paint off plastics without damaging the plastic), scrub with a toothbrush and then rinse and leave to dry on some paper towel for a day.
