Seems to me the options are to make Four Winds Punch push markers, make Koji’s gun enemy only, or make the marker drop enemy only. Any of those would fit.
the most logical if they dont want to hurt the model besides just the card draw is just the last one

I had heard on podcasts that she gives Ulix the card draw he needs as he's rather card hungry.
That's why some make extra room for brin, 2 extra cards a turn, a stacked deck and probably a bit of focus

Okay! So Seamus Core box, high society and Hats off would be a good start? Or would it be better to go with the Big Hat keyword for the Hats Off? Is it not worth getting at all? I'm totally new and figuring out what to get for first time players. Thanks for the help!
I should note, we don't have any stores in the area that carry Malifaux so I can't go in and physically look at the things which is usually how I prefer to figure things like this out. I really appreciate the spreadsheet! Spreadsheet! Spreadsheet! Woo!
somer is... one of the worst masters in the entire game now, (though gg3 is still kinda up in the air)
seamus core, high society and hats off should be good though, his keyword tends to lag behind seamus (1) himself so without anyone else in faction hes not as good as he could be, but is more than alright. however it is worth asking if anyone else in faction appears interesting for future expansion
if you arent aware, boxes like hats off are called title boxes, and the masters inside can be used instead of the version inside core, allowing multiple different crew strengths and playstyles. whether they're worth an early purchase depends on master (brewmaster for example *really* wants his) , seamus aint in much a rush but also stuff like mourners arent particularly useful so its still a good grab. the versions of the master are typically labeled 1 (core) and 2 (title)
also, not sure if its at all interesting but you can always try out faux online via vassal or TTS to see if those masters and/or keywords are somethin you wanna commit to, but so-as not to to hog this thread just dm me if that sounds interesting- 1

How does the Hats Off box do in all this? If I got that with the Seamus Core box would that be a good start for Redchapel?
No.
That's barely enough to get you to 30 stones (the main game is 50) if your going Seamus in keyword you need high society
ESPECIALLY with hats off since that title summons

Hamelin2 does have Obey, but it turns out that a lot of Plague keyword actions aren't valid Obey targets because they mention Rats.
The FAQ changed this so it works, you just cant use the rat trigger

Okay, so i've been mulling over Carver OOK in a Zoraida crew. Zoraida's ability to walk models into his engagement range, allowing Carver to take Draw Essence twice as well as giving him fast via the Hex trigger means if the bubble is right, Carver should be able to ping a lot of models up to 5 times in one turn for spending, at worst, a single 7 of masks (more if you want to obey people into the bubble. After having a hand drained by trying to stop some draw essence Carver makes more use out of terrifying.
As with all things, this is nest case scenario and planets aligning, but the theory is sound. It does however make Carver an 11ss model when so far no-one has justified 10SS. lol.
Will run it and see how it does.
So you'd be spending master AP to walk people up to Carver, and then more to put out a few (kinda) weak shockwaves that, if they fail, just damage carver

Quite frankly, I am not looking forward to 8 more masters and models to go with them.
You can't stop progress, march or be run down!

"...if a model would be affected by multiple auras of the same name..."
Regardless of the definition of affect it still needs to affect a *model* specifically, which your soulstone cache isn't, it's not affecting the dead (or dying) model, nor even the insurance model, so you get 2 just like the scamper example
-
It would be B, you get 2 stones

i do not believe scrap gains the destructible trait, as its only treated like pit traps with specific traits

Stuff like puncture triggers, focus, pings, and high min damage, but hard to wound is a real tough one

Whether or not they ignore the pillar they are still touching it, so yes, you can shove them through
-
If the question is that because of "may" you can say you have no activations left until later essentially as an infinite pass token I suppose RAW you can *maaaaybe?* Do it, but its super grey cause you do still have a model you can activate and I'd more lean on that especially since I doubt any TO in the world'd allow it
This goes for constructive criticism on molly too but there you can potentially load up 3 "last" activations guaranteed

Sorry...one more question! Does the fact that the aura does not accumulate mean that one cheat made by one enemy character cannot move multiple "scamper"models at once?
auras are slightly confusing... them stacking is dependent on who is effected by the aura, if the target is then it doesnt, that being most auras like entropy, alchohol poisoning, catalyst, ect. but if its not like scamper where the only effected is the model with the aura it does stack

ok but why's it gotta be malice? there could be a lot of reasons people could be especially cautious with buffs that dont involve just wanting to stomp people but i dont believe ive ever met anyone with the claim that it was just *bad*, just on a model by model basis like with taelor
"going after you" is a strong way to word what he did though

Tbh, reading the card, it's pretty clear that it's how the action works, whether it makes sense or not or intended
Also, no it doesn't just teleport bete to the corpse marker as it's an unbury effect that does that, and if you aren't buried you ignore unburies

Do a model with a hazardous aura considered a terrain marker?
in Malifaux Rules Discussion

They are terrain, but it is not a marker and as such, no it's not ignored, they would have to ignore hazard entirely as it's a tactical action
