  1. Hi Guys,

For a while now I played Parker and his Bandits and got really hooked into that high noon shooty western theme.

So I ordered Perdita, all her Keyword models, Effigy, Emissary, Rider, Guild Steward, Domador de Cadavres, Rifleman, Austringers, Pathfinder and Cornelius Basse.

Now my question is what does a common list look likem What models are autotakes, what models are situational? (looking at you Papa Loco)

What upgrades are another autotake (LLC on Perdita?)

What is a healthy SS Cache to start a game with?

Usually I use 5-6 with Parker, but he and his crew generates them very good. Perdita and her crew seems the same like Parker is, but more glasscannon.

    Thank you!

Expanding in the question above regarding scheme markers and their allegiance...

if it says “remove a scheme marker” I have assumed that to mean friendly or enemy...  is that not the case?

In that case you could remove a friendly or enemy schememarker. Does not matter.

  3. Wokou Raiders are good against 1vs1 melee. Or 1vs2, but a bit expensive with 8SS IMO.

Benny is a Trap. Never used and never will use him he's bringing nothing to your parker crew.

Dead Outlaws are funny, but squishy with 4def.

Thanks for the replies. Was wondering, because some actions state to drop a friendly marker, some state enemy marker, and some do not specify either. Was a little confusing.

Yeah its confusing. Sometimes they say friendly or enemy as you like.

People like him because he can ride with me and shoot his gun in turns 1 and 2, then he can blow up the entire enemy crew in turn 3 and pretty much guarantee you the win. I would say that is pretty good.

He's far too easy too counter. I saw a Deadie die in T1 from 1 Seamus shot. Pretty nasty.

I will try to OOK hire a Domandor de Cadavres or a Rifleman.

Ain't nobody got stones for that!

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣  nice one.

I came up against Basse last week with Parker.

I played against a girl in our local community to train her for our local tournament a week ago. Before the "trainee-game" I read the other ones Crew and was hooked....I shot Basse from the Board but my opponent(ess) made some bad,bad desicions and had bad flips and hands too.

Basse + Jon are really really frightening and Paul Crockett is very nice with Jon because of his mask trigger (coordinated attack)

I don't know why all guys are hooked on that Pale Rider thing, he's good but a 11 SS model Enforcer that needs 3 rounds to Ram(p) up is a bit situational IMO.

"Ride with me" okay, but you could deploy Jon and all others 8" further you won't need that rwm-ability.

I have run two gunslingers both with Wanted Criminal before to test how god the combo would be. It is most effective turn 1, as you can chain gang, walk for focus then charge and shoot with positive flips. It came up a few more times in turns 2-5, but that first turn was kind of brutal.

2 is a way too much IMO. 1 with wanted criminal is okay I think.

You don't know how he plays. He may never actually take a walk with a convict gunslinger. When the model has Run and Gun, you are going to rarely find times that you want the extra maneuver compared to the free attack at the end of the move.  (You're probably right and it was hyperbole, but I also can see people playing games with the Convict gun slinger and not taking the walk action with it all game).

You may play your gunslingers differently and do walk a lot, in which case you may get the values from the upgrade.

True I don't know how he plays, but his statement red as you never walk...period!" And thats not true.

Do you mean Disgused?  There are 18 models currently in the game with Disguised; exponentially more when Perdita is on the table, which I would be more worried about.

It could be disgused not sure about.

But those are going to be the a very low % of the models, so it doesn't justify the price for the upgrade, specially not in the Gunslingers, since they don't want to be within 6" of the enemy when they can be at 12" (so you will only take advantage of the focus part).

Sure its correct what you are saying about the upgrafe, but your statement of you never move is just wrong. Sry.

    Charging.

Why take an action to walk when you can take an action to walk and shoot?

Maybe something does not generate actions from charging.

2 gremlins in a guillie siut, Jonathan Reichart for example.

  10. I just red the rules again and it says that triggers that does not specify when they happening they happen after succeeding, so IMO thist has a huge impact in the Deftrigger of the Gunslinger and maybe he needs the Wanted Criminal Upgrade to use some SS to get the Mask.

His def trigger happens if he wins the duel + has a mask against the attack he resolves. Not easy to achieve.

This puts him into another light for me.

This is my most common list two, although I tend to swap Sue for Midnight stalker quite a lot. I would also swap him for Pride (in addition to his cheating denial, he can help a lot with destroying of your opponent's hand), if I had him. Very occasionaly I would change him with the Child+Bandido for more pseudo-obeys.

I haven't tried two gunslingers yet.

Gunslinger against Ophelia, Perdita, Basse, Seamus seems good.

I don't know what to do with Pride.

What about the prospector? How do you really use them, mainly for the soulstones?

First turn I activate him after Gunslinger, Bandidio, Mad Dog and give him stunned for another SS. Do his 0 action (wich counts now as a 1action) and try to get the trigger to place a Schememarker.

After that I take a walk action for a better position.

The Schememarker is for a Gunslinger, Badidio or Mad Dog to get fast in Turn 2.

Sue really misses Life of crime, imho. I usually play with the Emissary for its bonus action scheme dropping, which can provide sufficient markers to fuel Life of crime, combined with Parker's drawing their attention, for everyone who needs it.  I like to hire Sue when I expect mobile melee opponents or when I need some extra firepower or his utility action (to remove scraps and corspes), but I find myself hiring a single gunslinger more often than Sue, mainly because their AP difference. But I might be missing something important, of course.

Dont forget Sue got a Fist full of Scrip too. This was often very useful for Ruins or Leyline.

Are you Guys useing 1 or 2 Gunslingers if ypu switch Sue out?

My common List with a good success was

    Parker

    Doc

    Mad Dog Brackett

    Sue

    Gunslinger

    Bandido

    Prospector

    Emissary
