  1. So by resolving attack of Blessed of December a model within aura of San Quang and near hazard we will see:

    deal damage - model killed 

    place by Sun Quiang - model not killed it is in 1 hp

    Model alive - push 2 inches in hazard but within 3 inches of Sun Quiang

    model killed?! - it was placed and healed 1 but dead because of starting placement in hazard? No it was placed and healed 1 that costed 3 cards.

     

    Or after model’s health became 0 even if it is healed after somehow all my effects typed after damage track are ignored?

  2. The question is: how exactly I should resolve actions like:

    - Target suffers 2/3/4 damage and gains Staggered.

    - Target suffers 2/3/4 damage and gains Burning.

    - Target suffers 2/4/6 damage. Push the target up to 2” in any direction.

    - Target suffers 2/3/4 damage and must either discard a tome or have this model draw a card.

     

    As far as I can see it in the rule book on page 34 the part after damage track should be resolved on step 5 and model will be killed only after step 6 if the total damage after all damage and healing will reduce model’s health to 0.

    For instance: If I determine damage by making a damage flip =3 and it reduces models health to 0 I will still apply burning to it. Only after that the model may be saved from death by healing (like life token or any kind of aura which will heal the damaged model).

    same goes to pushes and discards?

  3. Dear Wyrds Please fix an Upstage action that count as 2 for the model's limits.

    Since according to this logic Upstage copies and burns 2 actions (This model may take the selected Actions.)

    1 action to copy and 1 to take it - same goes to Bonus action.

    1 to copy and then it would be  the only bonus action per activation.

     

    So this action is almost useless.

    Zoraida 7 stat and ability to pick up a new hand... Phiona has 5 Wp.

    You can also interact (place marker), push 6" and you still have 2 actions.

    1. Focus-Charge = you need less charges and you can softener her before.

    2. The Headline trigger = opponent calls that he discards markers so you CAN'T place a marker with Nellie. 

    So you need only 1 model with 2 focuses and ignore deftriggers. Or Agent or nekima or whoever else.

    The biggest GU loser is Hoffman who gets so many buffs in AR compared to GU, it's sad :( 

    Forget about Nellie as Card drawer ... 8 inches, LOS - even DropIt and gaining focus+card for marker was better - some synergy with Guards - so you could avoid taking Press for 5!!!! SS

    Ortegas are strange,
    they don't ignore armor, they dont have lot of damage, but their biggest problem is that they are not protected. No htc, no htw, no armor, with the exception of poor grit armor on franc. The only implementation of this gang - take dita as second master.
     

     

    they had some def in early beta - since that time they had low stats - look at Ophelia - she is well with low stats and a protection ability hard to ignore.

    As for TT: I played vs Lynch, Misaki and Yokou for now. NVB: Marcus, Zoraida, Dreamer (not final version), Pandora, Lilith. We had 2 kinds of games: one player gets extremely lucky and snowballs the game out of control, or it's a 1-2 VP difference (we're pretty close skill-wise).

    We made 2 tourneys here in Moscow and I was testing with top players here - so my idea is comparing toolboxes, not "give me power" in 2Me Guild had a toolbox Nellie (not brainless), toolbox Hoffman, toolbox Lucius, toolbox McCabe (very special) and 3 kinds of killers - LJ, Sonnia and Perdita they were strong in killing but hard in schemes. SO you could play with master mastering him - now we have only 2 toolboxes (Lucius/Dashel) and 2 beaters (LJ/Hoffman). Other masters will suffer against any competitive roasters of NVB, TT, Gremlins (after they "fixed" Ophelia), Arcanists. I can't see how they should play as intended.

    I've had some nice experiences with Nellie so far, but I do think there are stronger masters overall in guild.  There will be some sets where she can do work, but if you are looking for a master to solo, probably look elsewhere.

    And better in other factions.

    To my mind in competitive Malifaux for Guild there are only 3 Masters - Dashel / Lucius and for Reconing LJ.

  10. Tried her today in Standard, Tomes (1 for me and 2 for opponent 3 turns played), 1, 3, 4, 6, 8...

    My Roster: Nellie LLC, Press, Phiona LLC, Alison, Field reporter, False Witness, Undercover reporter, Steward

    Opponent: Lucius, Scribe, Zoraida, Collodi, Agent 46, Changeling.

    I have played 1 (0) and 4 (1).

    Public Outcry = not working at all. Opponent kills whatever he wants when Adversary is useless already. 1 distract for a model... thank you.

    Breaking News = 8 inches radius for  gaining card and focus - seems more like let your Master die for focus. you will be able to use it only with trigger on "1 more question" same as Chasig story - it worked once for 3 models - ONCE! dealing damage only when model engages = just die in mele hugs.

    Headline = To use it properly you need to come even closer to opponent because he calls "I remove markers with no markesrs"

    Obeys on the table makes this crew suffer. so my models dropped bombs on my side of the table etc... Exclusive Interview does nothing with it.
    Headline + Exclusive interview = we finally can put a scheme marker!!!! which might be removed by... yes the same ability.

     

    Playing competitive Nellie looks like ... useless. In other crews with leader only Public Outcry = same. this crew is only paper strong, when you are playing with it it feels like waste of time and nerves.

     

    MVP models in play:

    For me: Undercover reporter - removed enemy minion to deploy zone placed a bomb but was obeyed by Zoraida even in "far far away"and picked a bomb up.

    Field reporter - nice schemerunner but has nothing to do when she get engaged and hit.

  11. +1 Dashel and Lucius are like the most steady masters in Guild. 
    Basse - i have some ideas but not tested him - looks like he would be the only solid killer.
    LJ - you don't want her to play with Neverborns, TT, Arcanists her roster is very predictable.

    Sonia - looks more fragile than glass-cannon. Summoning helps but only when opponent faces it first time.

    Hoffman - you won't take him against Neverborns, TT (Shenlong and Asami for sure) and Outcasts (hello Tara and Leveticus).
     

    I haven't played a lot with Ressers so can't say anything about them.

  12. Btw follow the lead and “force to interact” opponent can just declare removing scheme markers as well - so no markers for  the bonus action - as it might be a 40 or 50 mm base - no LÓS. Is it working as intended? 

    The upgrade version was boring but working - with those ranges you are always under fire without any protection
