I ran a swampfiend crew with Lilith this weekend with Juju + EF as the Sacrificial lamb. As a little bonus he even had a Bandersnatch packed on his back. Killed 2 models before my opponent was able to kill him. And he comes back as soon as something other than Bandersnatch dies.

FFM doesn't work on bad juju, as he never actually dies.

  2. I wouldn't branch into the Dreamer just yet, but would recommend Lilith or Titania. Both masters have very good minion models that are used in a lot of crews, and both can enjoy the occasional Illuminated. As far as supporting Lynch goes, you need Mr. Graves and Changelings. The insane mobility that will give your crew is well worth it. Also, doppleganger. I personally wouldn't recommend beckoners or stitched with anyone but collodi, as the stitched have no synergy with Lynch and it is always a struggle to get a beckoner to pull it's weight.

  3. Dogs! all the dogs. In Lucius you can run eight three stone models that have almost no drawbacks. While a Terror Tot looks better for one more stone, often the extra activations make it well worth it, and they are very killy models. People scoff at obeying a three stone model, but Lucius can obey guild hounds to charge, and while being obeyed corrupted hounds have an average of 3 damage (!).

Also, always bring three changelings or the emissary.

I'd love to see a male kirai though with a female lost love. That could be cool. Even if they just took the current models and swapped roles, that might be neat. I don't know her backstory though, so maybe that doesn't work...

That would work, you'd just have to release an alternate Ikiryo as well.

  5. It depends more on what master you're playing. If you know you can safely ignore your opponent all game (Collodi, Lucius, sometimes Lilith and Dreamer) you probably don't care about conditions. Win the game on VP. However, if your plan is to kill things, and you have the schemes to support it, Johan can come along to give you that condition removal.

  6. Always take doppel. Always. Kade is also fantastic, as if you can kill something big with him you're in a really strong position and he has a lure. Also, take candy. All. The. Time. She is very good in this format. When you've killed two of their models, (or you have iggy) you can completely deny them a whole activation. Baby Kade's lure also works a treat with her 3" melee range. i would recommend Candy, kade with thousand faces, Doppleganger and iggy or the effigy and rets eye on the doppleganger.

     you need a Teddy!

Outside of Dreamer, you don't. The Dreamer is our best Master, so try to get his summons. Outside of that, our faction is very master dependant. Try to pick up what your master needs, aside from a few small must-haves: Doppleganger, Primordial Magic, Corrupted Hounds and Changelings.

  8. At my LGS we're starting a campaign, and having never played in a campaign before I'm wondering what to take. I would like to grow into Jack or Parker, but can't decide between them and have no idea what to start with. I was thinking of Rusty or Mad Dog. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To clarify, I was talking about Liliths Transfixing Gaze, which is Ca 8, though it does require a mask. And again, it's a master action.

Sorry, thought you said Lilitu not Lilith. I wouldn't use Lilith to lure something in unless I had Living blade.

Also Liliths Lure. At Ca8 it's one of the most reliable in the faction, but at the cost of a Master action its usefulness is debatable.

Am I missing something- I thought Lilitu was Ca7?

  11. I agree that the tooth is amazing, but why not both? Baby kade, while being squishy, is much more killy than a rougarou, so why not take him instead? I can see it if you're playing the emissary, but even then baby kade is Ml7.

  12. Personally, I would like to see more Nephilim adopt human fighting styles like Barbaros. You would think that they would respect the power it would give them, and even if they hat humans, it doesn't mean that some of them wouldn't adopt their successful techniques.

  13. The doppleganger and baby Kade are fantastic in henchmen hardcore, as between them they can kill most things in the game. They can also lure something out of position on turn one, which is very strong. Candy is also fantastic in this format, as if you kill all but one of their models and still have candy, you just win.
