  2. One of Hoffman's key elements is Power loop condition.

    It doesn't work properly on cyborgs. Moreover, we have to spend full activation of master to make 3 cyborgs.

    I think that basic Hoffman + ignore ignore armor + (0) 6" placement + extra Armor is stronger

    There sure seems to be word target in there. There is no rule saying only Attack actions have targets, many tactical actions have them as well. Rules are very clear about target being one of the things you need to declare when you declare an action.

    I personally think it's rather obvious you have to take the attack actions from Flurry against the target you declared. Assuming otherwise would lead to anarchy with people taking their charge attacks against anything they feel like and probably doing something even more silly as well.

    But wouldn't this portion just be the resolved effect of completing the flurry action.  The target still has not been selected until the MI atk action is selected.

    It must be LEGAL target. The only legal target for this attack is Trixie

  5. Perdita has ill blood with Sonnia so no Witch hunters and Family in one crew!
    Brutal effigy and brutal emissary can't be taken in same crew, they are the same being!
    Von Schill has issues with General Governer, no Freikorps mercenaries!

    The list can be continued endlesly. Look at entire Outcast faction.
    Backstory is backstory, rules are rules. You don't have to mix them.


    I think that in Malifaux 3.0 McMourning will be removed from Guild (with Lucius and Mc Cabe).
    Until that we can use him without any concerns.

  6. To add about Sonnia.

    I played her 3 times vs unskilled players.
    I said multiple times that she is dangerous, that she generates many blasts and her Ca is hard to deny.

    2 of them were wiped out on turn 2, Ramos crew was wiped out on turn 3.

    Now I don't play Sonnia with them.

    Other players rarely give me opportunity to kill something on turn 1. They hide, they try not to group up and try to lock her in combat.
    When I play vs them I usually don't stand within 10" of enemy to summon stalkers.

    Also I spend 2 cards to get CA 9 or Def 6 and don't have spare cards to summon Stalkers.

    I've seen good Sonnia players run Re-incarnate and use it to great effect, getting 3-5 stalkers most games. It was rare for her to not be killing things turn one. her denial is largely death from afar, but its pretty hard to avoid it whilst still trying to score most of strats. (Flame wall is fairly decent denial as well). She does excel at removing most cheap scheme running models, where she seems to struggle is against "elite" opponents, where she would rather concentrated damage rather than just damaging the whole field a bit. 

    Maybe we play different Sonnias =)

    You still need LOS and range for chain activation.

  10. In Semptember a campaign will be started in Odessa, Southern Legion club (Lev Tolstoy str, 28).

    Guild + Outcast mercanaries vs Neverborn + Gremlins
    The players from other factions can join one of the sides of the conflict.


    To win each fraction must conquer 3 key locations on a campaign map.

    For each game a player can choose a 50 SS crew.
    If any Rare 1 character is killed during game, his fate will be desided by a Fate deck (10+  survives, otherwise killed/wounded and can't be taken in further games).
    That's why masters/henchmen/unique enforcers will be divided between players before campaign starts.

    The games can be played in club (on Saturdays/Sundays) or elsewhere (if both players agree).
