  1. I probably won't participate in tournaments anytime soon, haha. Do I need to buy multiple crew boxes to play a specific faction? For example, if I wanted to play the Hired Swords (Viktoria) crew would I need to buy multiple boxes to play that faction? I'm planning on just playing casually. I'm not a huge fan of the models in the starters set but I see that it comes with the digital rules. Is that a PDF version of the full rules or only the quick start rules? I'm glad to hear the rules are somewhat simple and manageable. I've played Arkham Horror successfully so hopefully its around that level of complexity. I like the idea of using cards instead of dice. Very cool. It sounds like the game is much more skill oriented and less dependent on luck. Excellent! Luck can make a game exciting but I prefer chess-like games that require strategic thinking. Thank you for linking the videos! And thanks for answering my questions and providing your thoughts! Much appreciated.
  2. Hello everyone! So...I should start by saying that I know next to nothing about this game. It really intrigues me though - the characters, setting and factions all look really awesome! It seems to have a great community too which is excellent! Anyways, I have a few questions. I recently bought some Warhammer 40K miniatures (only $30 dollars worth). Instead of investing more into 40K, I may switch to this game. How does this game compare to 40K in terms of pricing? It appears that you need less miniatures than 40K, is that true? Also - is the starter set a good idea for a beginner like me? (I'm assuming that it is but I have no idea) I really enjoy painting miniatures and I've noticed that this game seems to use less of them. Which is the only unfortunate thing for me. In the starter set I see that you get eight miniatures (four for each crew). Do crews typically only have four units or can they be larger than that? If any 40K players respond to this - How do the rules for this game compare to 40K? I'm not trying to start an argument about which game is better but I am genuinely curious about what everyone's thoughts are. Thank you in advance for all the help! It's much appreciated! As you can probably infer, I'm very new to miniature-based board-games so I'm pretty lost and confused about everything. I thought this would be a good way to learn more about this game and help me decide if it's a good choice for me to play. Thanks again!
