What if Malifaux was just a theme park

So gone to print off the updated rulebook and any page that has a character image (e.g the nightmare on page 3) on it prints in a black box that covers over everything else, anyone know how to stop this as have tried all different things I can think of and its still doing the same.  I believe its to do with the image being a separate piece to the page, its dead frustrating

Has there been more people sign up for this?  I’m about to buy ticket but it looks scarce

1. can the scheme be added to the app in some capacity. It’s cool, I like it.

you could hit one of the riders and use their 'revel in …..' action and eat up all their Fate tokens, along with any of the actual part of the ability itself, mech rider for example you could shuffle all of their naff cards back into  their deck to dilute it ….

or Yasunori take 8 damage both players draw cards

Just want to check in on the alt spit hog promo, as I haven’t seen any updates or received confirmation on the order. Are these being handled yet or have the delay demons had on this too? If so is there a rough estimate on time?

Same thing with the one of the right, how can his legs be in that position and his lower clothes be right under his feet. This feels very awkward to me. I understand this may be to make the model easier to assemble on a base but this does not feel right to me.

Overall, nice try at dynamic poses and, except for the pose awkwardness, good art.

exact same sentiment. Love the style and the art direction. but the poses are really weird. looking a lot more sinister and rugged.

the previous Torakage were part of the first lot of models that I bought and got me into Malifaux as they are stunning. Dynamic posing is something I felt Wyrd had down to a T, so its a bit sad (in a way) that they are going be replaced but hopefully the models translate well and the poses aren't as awkward as this looks.

How about Wouku raiders and the Smugglers? I have the feeling they are not very used with Parker even if they share the keyword

the sculpt while not everyones cup of tea (I absolutely love it tbh) does really nicely in a Parker crew more than the other outcasts I'd say.

I wish Big J was more in line with Bandits as he has a level of aesthetic with them too.

I really Like Hans, yet to use him much (or even Parker too much tbh), but I think he probably is not that needed as I can't see too much that he adds.

Seriously, the entire point of having the Cheating Fate mechanic is so you’re not just chucking random cards and wishing for the best.

If the players are gonna throw up arms about it and leave it’s probably not in anyone’s interest they are in the group anyways.

I mentioned that it would be in interest to inform them on this occasion you are not giving a target number, if they insist to throw cards at it after that then that’s fine

its a role playing game, don’t get jumped up by it, in most role play games I’ve ever seen there’s been some kind of pop out or point in the book saying to do just that (including this one), adjust things to suit the situation. 

I didn’t realise there was a tournament scene for role playing and as such rules should be rigidly followed in case it upsets the meta gamer so I do apologise that my response isn’t reasonable for the global environment

You could not share a public TN with the group, you are the FM and it is well within your power to adjust the written rules for your purposes where it suits the scenario. In this case I would personally inform the group that your intention is not to share a TN with them on this occasion, its then down to them to chance at taking a Duel or not, how much notice are they going to put into their surroundings?
