  1. Hi guys.
I have a question about  using  Obey action of the lawyer and his Сhatty ability: If I use Obey on an enemy model that is in a 6"  from the lawyer, and I want to do interact action, will I have to discard a card for my own aura?
And another question about the Crowd Control aura of a Brutal Emissary - enemy models in his aura will not be able to do actions under my Obey, even if the Emissary is from my crew?

Nope. Auras don't stack. So you would only get the effect of one Investigator.

In this case, what does the aura affect? On the model? No - there’s a 3 "distance wording, not an aura. To the marker? Also no - the game state of the marker does not change.

  3. Hi guys. In connection with the release of GG0, an important question arose about corrupted idols.  Now, idols markers are created, not dropped, and the explanation about how to place them if the location is blocked by another marker has disappeared. In this regard, a problem arises - for example, Kaeris can fill the center line with its pyre markers and strategy markers cannot be placed at all. The question is - is this just what was intended or is it just a mistake in the rules?

  4. I agree with almost everything that was written above. However, it seems to me that we forgot about the main thing that needs to be changed - these are guild upgrades. Obviously, compared to upgrades from other fractions, our weakest ones are in terms of variability, and Expert Marksman upgrade is not needed at all at the moment.

I think that may be the only situation where engaging another model has a negative consequence for the engaging model.

In M2E, the precedent from chamgelings would be that models with Gunfighter wouldn’t be able to use Gunfighter to get quantum engagement ranges.

In this case, another question arises: Do models with a gunfighter have any engaging?

  6. Hi guys. I recently acquired Nellie and played one game for her, after which I had a discussion with my opponent. The situation was as follows: Parker has a "gunfighter" ability, the Journalist is next to him at 1", and Nelly targets Parker with the action “One more question.” The question is - Parker engaging the Journalist? The opponent say that since there is a word  "may" in the description of the ability, he himself chooses whether he is engaging model at any given moment or not. But it seems to me somewhat wrong, because then it turns out that he can keep models in the engaging, but at the same time completely avoid negative effects of that engaging.

  7. Hi guys, i have "One more question!" question. ^_^
We have enemy model with Slow condition. This model targeted by action "One more question!" with trigger "Prey of nothingness". How are the effects worked out in this case?  Slow condtition from action applies before triggering or after? Ie, can we remove the current Slow condition on the trigger, and then put it again at the expense of the current action?

  8. Greetings gentlemen. I had a dispute with my comrades on the subject of some moments related to the control of enemy models. I have my position on these issues, but I decided to ask a question here in order to either confirm it or refute it. So:

    1. If I use Obey on an enemy model and it does an interact action to drop a scheme marker - will this marker be enemy or friendly to my crew?

    2. If I use Obey on an enemy model and it does an interact action to change alignment of a neutral strategy marker in Turf War's strategy, will the marker become friendly or enemy to my crew?

    3. If I use Obey on the enemy model, and this model has a tactical action marked “only friendly models”, can I use this action on the model that performs Obey?

Bonus question: Is there any difference in the wording of the «engaged with» and «engaged by»? Ie if the written «engaged with», does this mean that the model should be within melee range of the enemy model, or is it enough to keep the enemy model within its melee range?image.thumb.png.f88e9d69cadf0d52ea6fb49c53baa5f0.png

    They can copy lucius's obey.

It's just 1 action per model with lower stat and 4 SS cost...doubtful. And in Neverborns they look better than in the Guild, since there are practically no other tactical actions for copying in our faction.

Ah, now I see.  You’re misunderstanding what it means concerning drawing lines of sight.

Because there’s a line of sight that crosses the terrain, Concealment is granted even though the crossing lines of sight are blocked.  (Blocked line of sight lines have still been drawn.). So both of your diagrams have Concealment.

This isn’t one of the “I can see less of you more clearly, so there’s no penalty” systems.

Thanks, now I see how it works. But only one question: if LoS is not required for an attack, and all sight lines blocked while crosses the Concealing terrain - does the target model have a concealment and the attack gets -flip?

  11. Lawyers are very situational - a high TN of Obey strongly hits for their effectiveness. As a result of my tests, I came to the conclusion that it is worth taking 1, not more. Investigators looks much better - due to the staggering, can inflict decent damage, give models control by pushing them from markers and draw cards. My last idea was to take the Domador De Cadaveres, Brutal Emissary and Pale Rider - the Cadaveres are minions, so through them Lucius can give orders to the Rider and the emissary who are undead.

  12. Gentlemen, after I had played a sufficient number of games in the third edition, I had a strong feeling that something was wrong with the rule of Concealing. I give an example: there are two models of different players who are each in their own deployment zone. In the middle of the table there is a certain terrain (for example, a magical mist) which partially hides models from each other -  part of the lines of sight crosses it, and some does not. The essence of the dilemma is as follows: if this terrain has only Concealing trait, then both models will receive a Concealment regardless of how far they are from the terrain and how many viewing lines pass through it (one is enough). But if the terrain has Concealing and Dense traits, then the models will be able to get Concealment only if they are inside the terrain, because according to the rules, the line of view THROUGH Dense cannot be performed, which means that the Concealing trait will not work in this case. Actually I want to know - it was meant to be that way it should work? Or maybe some changes needed?

Even if the wording would be "Target gets focused and Heals" I don`t think it would work as you resolve the effects of the action and then you start resolving abilities of different models.

We have clear wording about it: "The model performs the actions effects, as stated on the card, in the order they are listed."

In this case we have 2 effects, so they resolve in described sequence.
