...so.. what's the term for the polar opposite of Buyer's Remorse? Because that's what I have, hearing this. Everything about this box drips flavor and sounds fun as hell!

So since I've heard pre-upgrade, full-cache the box is about 30ss I'd guess Doc to be 3-4ss and Mad Dog 8-9ss?
What are Parker's upgrades like?

Yes. They're bandits as well so work with Parker's tricks. Raiders have the trigger to generate enemy scheme markers to fuel Parker's abilities so he's not obligated to use his attacks/triggers for that purpose.
They do look nice. Are they dual-faction 10T? (I don't play Thunders but I do play Lynch and the possibility is nice to have open).
Also, do they compare Stone-wise to the Bandidos?
And what about the dead outlaws? Any synergy there with Parker?

Question: Of all the stuff I bought, aside from the Coryphee, does ANY of it work at all with Collodi? From what I read only the Hungering Darkness works well(ish) with him.
Huggy is Lynch's dedicated Totem. No one else can use him?

Given what tidbits generous people have leaked, I'm currently looking at going Parker's box, Sue, Johan, and Big Jake. Those three add 19ss and full-cache pre-upgrade I've been told Parker's box is 30ss. 9 Activations feels pretty decent. Probably get VS next to get a Trapper and a Librarian (and got to admit, before Parker VS and the 'Korps were where I was plotting my Outcast start.)

It's WW1 with Malifaux elements. That's all I need to know - that and the fact we're finally going to learn more about Earthside in the Malifaux 'verse.

To my experience - Neverborn Lynch was my first Master - Loki basically summed it up (though I've not gotten Depleted yet).
The main function Lynch serves is not a solo objective-runner; he's entirely too slow for that. He is a mid-range artillery piece, focused on grabbing cards through cycling and Waking Up with a Hand,then positively annihilating anything foolish enough to come into range with him. He hits like a truck full of other trucks with proper setup - if you can hold onto a hand full of cards and collect those Aces, with proper upgrades he can drop somewhere in the vicinity of 18 damage onto a target in a turn - and, that's not even the scariest bit. All Lynch needs is to be within 10" - 4" walk, Play For Blood, Final Debt, 52 Card Pickup (if he's within 6" he can even stack another attack on) - but the scariest bit about Lynch is that his attacks are both highly accurate (CA8 for Play For Blood, CA7 for Final Debt TN 11; 52 is automatic) and, horrifyingly, none of them need to worry about threshold of success if Lynch so much as ties the defender, they're going to be eating all the damage he's throwing at them.

Well, the Ortegas are very simple and easy to pick up,and are the 'less fascist' of the Guild, more contractors. Monster hunters. Were simple to teach a wargame newbie of 16, and he ran with them pretty easily. They're not too awful for assembly, either.

I went with A Fistful of Scrip, Big Jake, and an Iconic Fate Deck. Nephew's getting the Sky Pirates and a Seriously Twisted Fate Deck for the 'birthday' thing. Miss Fire as a freebie - baiting me to look into Arcanists even as I just step foot into Outcasts.. Wyrd, you sly dogs...

Johan is another one of those that I hear a lot of praise for. Does seem really great for his 'Stone cost.
(and it's not like I won't have an M&SU gateway with Miss Fire to start down another rabbit hole someday)

So, with Parker becoming available tomorrow I no longer have an excuse-I've loved a lot of the various henchmen and enforcers among the Outcasts but there was not a proper 'Old West' Master to play along with a lot of the ones I loved the look of - I do favor theme. Parker and the Barrows Gang look wonderful and Parker himself looks incredibly fun and schemey - something I've lacked in my current (Neverborn) Master pool.
So, I know that until people start getting the book tomorrow that information might be unavailable -especially where his Crew are concerned. But when that information does becomes available, I'd greatly appreciate knowing what the 'high end' 'Stone total on A Fistful of Scrip is and what more-seasoned Outcasts find the box would benefit from - not the rules cards or anything but an overview of the other Barrows Gang members and their strong suits and costs.
Sue is an auto-include for me, as I hear great reviews and being honest he's a huge part of what drew me to look into the Outcasts; I'm also strongly looking at Convict Gunslingers.
Also, I'm pondering if Ronin might have synergy? With Finish the Job and Seppuku they seem to play a bit into Parker's mechanics?
(And yes, I know that the Freikorps are highly, highly recommended. They're on the horizon)

Though let it be said if you enjoy Lynch he does have the benefit of fewer models to work with - a box of Beckoners puts you to 50ss with him, and their shared price point with Illuminated allows you to decide if you need three Illuminated and a Beckoner or two of each; he's not overly tricksy either - there's definite room to expand and learn but he's actually pretty straightforward - cycle cards, collect Aces, wreck face with ridiculously high burst damage. He was my first Master and I've let other completely new players use him and they tend to click fast.

The Dead Cowboys sooorta look like Parker's bunch, just a bit. Might be just a shared Western vibe.. but if not... I'm now even happier Parker's going to be my introduction to the Outcasts!

And also, Pandora can be very control-oriented as well - and she has a lot of visual punch.

Titania also looks like she may be a bit control focused, or at least doing a lot with scheme markers with an upgrade to buff achosen champion - and she looks to like Waldgeists.

I can vouch, Illuminated are really solid minions all around, and take a stupid amount of punishment to take down.

Yep, I'm in the same boat as 'man, I chose a great time to pick up a second faction.'
Though I'm hearing
