Twisting Fates had some great stuff, didn't it? Damien Ravencroft's infiltration of the Witch Hunters, Ivan's escapade, the Molly story...all great. The Neverborn one was pretty creepy, too.
Absolutely. I’d call it the best book of 1e, lore wise.

There’s also a good general Tactica here on the forum, if you haven’t already given it a look. -
Finally had the chance to go dig my old 1e books out, and re-reading "The Mountains Straight Reply" was like reuniting with an old friend. Ivan and his merry band of weirdos, which I had forgotten included DeWalt even this early, made for one of my favorite 1e stories. There's obviously a lot more material to talk about Apex with right now, but it's Ivan and the DUA/Umbra keywords I'm more excited in seeing.

No 1988 Metal Gamin to go with Mad Cap, then?
-
What do you tend to do with Marcus when you’ve gone fairly heavy on OOK, non-Chimera/Beast models like the hypothetical vs Jack list?

I mean, in fairness, a warning shot is typically supposed to miss. 😛

At least they're all in one, convenient box:

Yeah, Wyrd has called them both Bloodhounds. This is a low quality pic, but here's the only clear image of Ullr I've seen so far:
I'm cool with them too. Luna and Penelope are among my favorite Totems for hitting that "intelligent, loyal partners" sweet spot, which Ullr and Artemis look to be doing as Enforcers.

Name? What kind of fella is this? Second Apex with Hunting Partner, the first being a bloodhoundy guy, Artemis? Figure it's not the same type of critter, or it'd have the same profile.
This is Ullr, Cooper's second hunting dog. 6ss

Do we know what this is? Did MM leak something?

It will be interesting to see how Cooper's "can't disengage" weakness and the in-Keyword Push effects balance out on the table, for sure.

Just a quick bump for those that don't look in the Explorer's Society forum:

From the sounds of it, Ivan's totem is described as melee focused with 5 Wounds, but some sort of Demise ability to return by damaging Ivan.
EDIT
Lord Cooper's Totems, the Runaways. A trio of human beings that he's hunting, who deploy on the center line and you get benefits for killing them yourself. They can't relent in duels with friendly models?

Haven't we seen Ivan in the fluff before? I swear he was...Arcanist involved? That sounds right.

Surprised there wasn't a thread.

Miss Guided is now properly showing in my cart and order.

Kabuki + Bunraku was what I'd been expecting for awhile. Cool to finally see them within sight.

Yeah, until you see his alpha strike, He is IMO a top 6 master behind, Levi, Dreamer, colette, Von Schtook, and Asami
What's it look like? Do you use a specific team comp or is summoning the crux of it?

It kinda feels like you've already got the Guild Autopsies for 1ss more, even if the free movement from Creep Along is conditional depending on the placement of your other models.

Here's one: is there a compelling reason to own Little Gassers? They look like frail, one-shot poison missiles, which is cute, but I'm not sure McMourning is really lacking in poison application.
-
Common opinion from the open beta seemed to be that the Experimental, Forgotten, and Urami keywords likely cover all bases.

So in the past year-ish, how has core hiring changes for you players? It seems like a number of people are foregoing Fire Gamin, using Eternal Flame to move the Golem turn one, and then planning on lots of Burning being out there for following turns I’d the Golem needs more movement.
