Yep...and because of that my plans for the german nationals next week are a bust.
The boxes I would have needed should have been released in July or August...and have been pushed back month by month and are now released in November (so basically sometime next year if I am lucky...)

I just don't understand why this page even exists at all.
Just make a list what is going to be released in the future but don't put any dates on it.

Even that page doesn't know. Releases are a pure gamble.

I usually try to have 6 or more stones, since I tend to take several stone users in my crews. For Justice for example I want quite a few stones to get her Leap off and hit the trigger.

Have you looked at the pictures in original size and compared the system/app text with the cards? Especially on the tablet screenshot I don't call that subtle.

I understand the compromise aspect...but not being able to red the cards for more than 1 or 2 minutes before having to look away isn't really an option either in my opinion (and as I now know I am not alone).
The stated alternative of using the hi-res PDF downloads is not really an alternative since:
- I can't search them
- They are all seperated in individual PDFs
- Creating "filters" takes a lot of time and even more space...and still handling isn't as convenient as it is in the app
- If there are updates I have to download the new cards and incorporate them manually into my "filtered" PDFs
- And last but not least is it not really helpful when using the game mode in the app

Edit: Why no hi-res option for users with enough space and hardware?

So...sadly this still seems to be an issue. I've brought it up in the beta but seemed to be the only one with that issue. Now I know of at least one member in our gaming club, that he hast the same problem on his Android device (I'm using Apple).
The text on the cards is blurry. Zooming in or our doesn't change anything. On a tablet (iPad) it is the same for landscape mode...if you change orientation the text gets totally pixelated.
I don't know if it is visible enough on the screenshots but I've atteched one from my iPhone and one from my iPad.

General tips which seem to work for me:
- Strat before Schemes
- Never pick 2 Schemes where you need to drop Scheme markers
- Don't deploy in a way which lets your opponent guess which Schemes you have from the beginning. Due to the way Schemes are scored in M3E you don't have to score in turn 2

The Jury is worth it just for the Obey. Her stuff against bury or summons is just icing on the cake in my opinion.

Hello fellow Guild followers!

I am in desperate need of some help from you. The new edition is running, the german nationals are coming up...and it just doesn't click for me with Guild.
In M2E I've played Perdita, Lucius, Nellie and a bit of LadyJ (in that order) and I had a lot of fun. In the new edition everything feels kind of bland.
It feels like we only have One-Trick-Ponys, very situational Masters or Masters who can easily be countered (and that very hard). Other factions have so much stuff going on and some Masters are like Swiss Army Knives.

For the beginning of this edition I wanted to focus on one Master until I feel really comfortable and then add the next Master.
My problem now is that I just can't find the right thing for me. Most of the days I am thinking about switching factions (which would be sad, because Guild is, together with Bayou, not really present in my local meta...and the factions I would switch too are way too overrepresented)

So...if you could only choose 1 Master and a pool of models to be as versatile as possible...which one would you choose and why?
Which models from the kexword and which OOK models would you put in the pool and why?

I'm not searching for prebuild lists...just some input to build myself a basis from where I can start.
Unreleased models should be included if necessary.

Ok...M3E is released and therefore...let's talk about Family list builidng.

Why? Because Perdita was my first Master in M2E and will be my first master in M3E (mostly because of low model count and general point and shoot playstyle spinkled with some extras).
So whats the problem? I always end up with the same Crew (which is basically just the Core Box) and just a few stones for variables.

So this leaves me 14 SS. I'd probably take the Guild Stewart for Condition Removal and Healing (plus handing out Focus). This would leave me with 8 SS which I don't really want to spend.
The only Family member I can see myself taking out of the list would be Papa.
I don't see any incentive in taking Monster Hunters or Pistoleros.
I can't seem to fit any Versatile model in without loosing other stuff (Pale Rider, etc.)
I can't see myself finding the SS to play a second Master (Nellie for example).

Any ideas on this? Maybe I'm the only one and I'm just not able to see the bigger picture.

Yeah I think that's right, because the stat on Nino's card is 5. For the Agent to get the  it would have to be mentioned in the text of the attack action.

Edit: I like the general direction of the Agent. He was way overpowered before. We'll have to see if he is too squishy now and needs some DF-love, but in general he feels more like the model he is supposed to be.

Yes it was an Austringer who denied the scheme. The traps just kept you from dealing with the Austringer quick enough to get rid of him in time to score.

I think that this may be one of the mistakes with the last update, since it's not mentioned in the change log (only the name change is mentioned)

No it isn’t necessary at all.

I second that. I'm really getting tired of this discussion, but someone seems not to be able to just let it go.

I like the direction this is going. This has way more Family feel.

The only thing I don't like is the ressource mess. Family generates Focus and maybe some Pass Tokens but has to discard cards for the new ability (without any significant card draw).
I don't have a solution, but I would like to see a bit more unity in this ( don't know how to describe this better).

Having played both now I share that opinion.
Basse against other masters was fun and challenging. Perdita against other masters was devestating.
