  1. Thanks very much, it was very helpful.
  2. So basically all i need to start and play for a while are (and correct me if i'm wrong): - Rulebook (i prefer the Rules Manual since it's far easier to carry around) - Miniatures Crew Starter - contains all Profile Cards for the miniatures in the boxExpansion boxes for new miniatures (do these come with Profile Cards and specific Upgrades?)- Upgrade Pack (for Generic Upgrades) - Optional Accessories: Wyrd produced Fate Deck (the Retro Deck looks awesome)Schemes and Strategies Card Deck (so you don't have to always check the Rulebook)Arsenal Decks Wave 1 & 2 (for full disclosure of available Miniatures and specific Upgrades) Did i miss anything? What of these is considered essential besides the rulebook and miniatures? I hate having to browse through the rulebook while in a game, especially as a beginner, so i guess the additional card decks would be a good idea in the long run, correct? And thanks Aaron and Dogmantra for helping out.
  3. So i've had my eyes in Malifaux due to the weird but cool miniatures i've seen pop in Tabletop News sites, had my first demo last Friday and will take the plunge. I've read the Pull my Finger beginners guide but still have some questions: - I've decided on starting with Guild - Lady Justice crew box (Death Marshals were the deciding factor, so cool these models) - What's the difference between the big rulebook and the Rules Manual besides size? As far as i have seen the Big Book contains the Rules (obviously), background story and some short stories, Crew profiles and their related upgrades. Does the Rules Manual only contain the bare rules and nothing else, i.e. without crew profiles and Upgrades? - Upgrade Cards As far as i understand the Crew Boxes have all the cards needed.. miniature profile cards and specific upgrades. I've seen Generic and Arsenal Upgrade Packs (Wave 1 and 2) in stores - which would i need or do i need them at all? Isn't it redundant to buy Arsenal packs if the cards are already included in the miniature boxes (or are they not always included?) Any other advice or directions to follow as a beginning Malifaux player?
