One of the standard go-to lists for Lilith was popularized by the top UK Neverborn player, Greg Piskosz:

Lilith -- 7ss (5, 6, or 7ss depending on if you take the upgrades in parentheses)
     +Beckon Malifaux - 1ss
     +On Wings Of Darkness - 1ss
     (+Aether Connection - 1ss)

    Primordial Magic - 2ss

    Nekima - 13ss

    Doppelganger - 7ss

    Johan - 7ss
     (+Retribution's Eye - 1ss)

    Mr. Graves - 8ss

    Mysterious Effigy - 4ss

    Terror Tot - 4ss

You can hear his explanation of the crew, how it works, and why he likes it here: http://schemesandstones.podbean.com/e/episode-18-master-spotlight-lilith/

Mind you with this swapping out the hooded rider with Nekima is a decent substitution if you want to keep him in the back field killing scheme runners 19 inch threat range is pretty sick.

This is rough Tuco looks great but having 8 stones on this model is a bit much when you can take other models that do more for the cost. Tuco is between a rock and a hard place he is a thematic model at best for the game. I have him, but i only run him when i am teaching people the game and I don't care about winning.

  3. Really not a fan of grow lists coming in slow is rough, if you manage to out do you opponent with more models than they did you are still at a disadvantage with them being slow. With the list above if a model grew for what ever reason hey that is great but that is a solid list to do most of the schemes and strats out there.

Lynch is a good starter to go with Lilith, Lynch loves tots, if you get the ace of masks in your hand tots get permanent sprint. Illuminated are great with everybody.

I cannot agree with this more, you can do a lot with this I would recommend getting a Primordial Magic as well.

  5. at my old LGS there are a few good painters. I just have them do it for me for a few bucks, problem solved. I did the IM box set year they sucked putting them together but at the end of the day they are IM's there is no wrong way of putting them together.

From past articles I read, Lucius is identified as weak when compared to other masters.

I don't know where you are reading this. I have never played Lucius, it's the next box set i need to paint but i have played against him, and he is damn near impossible to beat if the scheme pool is marker heavy.

  7. With Lilith if the pool is kill heavy I will run two and I normally keep them together to face roll what ever comes close. Depleted are great for some board control because they just take so much to drop, but I tend not to use them as something to hand out brilliance. Illuminated are great for just that killing things dead. I never use their shooting attack I prefer just to keep them in the thick of things.
