  1. Mark, I'll be taking ressurs, Steve neverborn, and at a guess thunders for Dave. I think he's packed his ressurs away for a while, but not 100% sure.
  2. PAINTING! A lot of questions about this - i am not going to insist on a fully painted crew. However, if you play the whole event with fully painted crews, i will give you a raffle ticket at the end. So the ways to get Raffle tickets: 1. Register on Saturday morning for 2 tickets 2. Win a game - get 1 ticket 3. Play the whole weekend with fully painted crews - get 1 ticket
  3. With only a few days to go, I normally get a few asking if there is still space, there is also a few that have said "I'm seriously thinking about it" or "let me consult the mrs." We are now limited to 48 places, so this leave only 4 left!! Get them while they're going.

  8. IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ 1. A few people are asking if there is a cap on players. I think we run out of space at around 60... even then more tables can be added and have been in the past (not that I think we will get 60) 2. 27 of us are going for a meal on the Satruday night. I have updated a list on the first post of this post and on Facebook Event. If you are not on the list and wish to be, please say. 3. Steve (owner of Common Ground) is known for his nice toasties (not a euphemism), however, he is not an octopus. With 40 odd people confirmed he has now asked me to offer Soup and Sandwiches for lunch. This is a catering service he gets in. It costs a fiver per lunch (so £10 for lunch for the 2 days). You'd spend that on a lunch anyway, right? I need to get a list of people who what this. There are other places to eat close by (Tesco for example), but Steve will not be offering food over the lunch period other than the soup and sandwiches. 4. Can I get an idea of teams? I know 2G1P will be entering, and as I can see 3 Black Jokers, I assume they will enter. And Ewan said about entering a team. Anyone else? I'd like to give a big thank you to you all for showing support for this event. Should everyone make it, it is looking like we are getting close to the 50 mark, making it one of the biggest non-nationals events that the UK has seen to date. I hope it meets expectations.

  12. Things are hotting up. 2 special cards added to the raffle, and we are up to 23. You will notice 2g1p are no longer excluded from the team competition. Their point of not getting the same out of the GT as everyone else was correct. So what I have done, is ask a very kind third party, that isn't coming to the event, to write up a list that i will just tick off on the day. Lewis is organising a meal for the Saturday night - for those that don't have facebook, info below.

  18. So these are ready to go - the eagle-eyed among you will notice a UK flag next to the logo so we can differentiate between countries. I have been approached about Netherlands, Italy and USA. Above it is suggested that USA needs to be regions, is this the case? Also open for more if you would like to be an admin of your country. Being an admin would involve people sending the results to you and you uploading them. Sometimes this means making the CSV formatted correctly, but I am putting examples together so that hopefully we can cut out the amount of admin on those. There is a tool for upload, merging players and adding teams to players. I do plan to put together international rankings eventually - they have been suggested many times, but the other countries should get a chance to build up their rankings I think.

Held on the 29th of May, as Common Ground Games in Stirling (http://www.commongroundgames.co.uk/) This is a charity event, part of the Gaming for Laura event hosted by Alastair Crowe and Michelle Dallas. It is for the Beatson's Clinic in Glasgow. You can head over to the Gaming for Laura Page on facebook to find out more It will be a three round fixed faction tournament following gaining grounds 2016. It is a fun event, suitable for the hardy players and the hardly players alike. Only £5 a head - pay on the day, come down and have some Malifun. We will be having a bit of fun with it. While all the plans aren't fully formed, we will be going with one idea that includes buying extra soulstones for charity. On the day there will be a raffle taking place, Tickets will cost £2. Prizes include 2 pink Dreamer Crews and 2 pink Malifaux Child (Children?, Childs?)

  22. I have been getting a lot of requests for different ranking sites. Currently the count is at 2 other gaming systems, 4 other countries for Malifaux and multiple requests for an international one once the countries are done. This is all happening. I am currently writing an admin to allow someone other than me to admin it (i do some stuff direct to the db just now). This will be a few weeks away, as right now, Myself and Jamie are working hard on getting the new live event feature working for spring breach on Saturday. If you haven't already contacted me, but wish to run rankings in your country, drop me an email and I'll add you to the list when the admin is ready. (I realise this may be the wrong place to put this, being that it is in the UK events)
