wow! everyone thank you for the nice comments!!! first I've been collecting and painting miniatures for a few years but this is my first Malifaux models, which I have to say have been really enjoyable to paint, I've already picked up a few other models and can't wait to start painting them! I've seem alot of comments on the bases, they came from micro arts studios which I believe really compliment the crew, however the bases of Nicodem and the rising punk zombie were put together from gravestone bits I've had lying around. also I'm going to rephotograph the models with a darker background, the white is just alittle too stark and washed out some of the details. again thank you all, your comments were very encouraging!! -
Hello all! so I'm new to Malifaux, I've been collecting and painting miniatures since about 2005, exclusively Lord of the Rings from games workshop. I've recently branched out into Malifaux after seeing some crew boxes for sale at my local hobby store. I've really gotten into the source material and the new plastic figures are just incredible!! I just finished painting my first crew box (open graves) and I've picked up shadows of Redchapel which I'm exciting to start painting! I'm looking forward to interacting with you guys and hope to pick up some new techniques
