Rumble on the River is a 16 player Malifaux Tournament taking place in the kindly Appalachian Valley! We will be playing at the NEW Lost Legion Games and Comic: The Vault in Vienna, West Virginia! Same building, just next door with a lot more room. The date of the event will be Saturday, October 14th 2017 and registration will start at 10:30.

This will be a Fixed Faction Gaining Grounds 2017 tournament with each game being 50ss and having a game time of 2 hours.
There will not be a painting requirement and distinguishable proxies are acceptable. This tournament is intended to be beginner friendly and we would be more than happy to answer questions at any point and have accommodations as needed.
If there are an odd number of participants, a ringer match will try to be arranged instead of a bye. In the case of a ringer match, the participant will be given a win but their tournament Diff&VP will be affected by the match. In the case of a bye, the player will receive a win, the average whole positive match Differential, and the average whole match VP.
Placings will be prioritized by TP, Differential, then VP.

Winnings will be from a tournament kit that some promise breakers have dropped extra goods into. There will be a $10 entry fee to cover space used and a set of  commemorative scheme markers.

Hosting this event will be Henchmen AJ Miller and Joseph Menear.

I'm more in the SE Ohio / Appalachia area but I know there's a good community of Wyrd community people at The Guardtower in Columbus.

I'm still available for impromptu demos and I'm able to go to the hobby store of your choice!

Will playing online via VOIP/Vassal be okay to qualify as a Stitch in Time event or will it have to be in a physical location?

I don't know where you're located in the vast highway-scape that is Ohio, WolfDayDream, but I'm the Henchman for Belpre, the far southeast corner of Ohio. If you're within a reasonable distance, I would love to help you get acquainted with the game. I'll also be hosting a Grow League in 1.5-2 months to drum up more interest in the area.

If you're not close to me, I would still be open to helping you using the power of the internets or even using Vassal for some web games.

Unfortunately, due to time constraints on I, the grow league will be delayed until late May. I apologize for the delay, but we'll have a great event in time!

Will the building instructions for the Easter pre-release models be up soon? Would like to make sure I know what I'm doing before I attempt anything. 

Greetings, Wyrd ones! My fellow henchman, McAirHwhip, and I will be hosting a grow league we're calling New Blood that is starting in the first week of April and will last until the end of May and consist of four two-week quarters. The primary focus is building, playing, and painting so the achievement sheets have been changed to reflect that.

There's no entry fee, and the prize support will be an 8-player prize kit with goodies from the local gaming stores and accessory retailers. Our first meet-up time will be posted closer to the start time.

Had a great session! We created Fated and played the Crossroads Seven TTB supplement.

We'll be reconvening in 2 weeks for the "Next Step" on the journey of the magically-inclined Fated.

On January 30th at 5pm, at Comic Sense in Belpre, OH, I'll be hosting First Steps, a Through the Breach campaign centered on new players and exploring the systems in the game.

Players of all skill level level are invited to play! We'll be creating your Fated and taking the "First Steps" in your journey this session.

As for non-Frozen Heart models:

Cassandra/Lola is wonderful running up a flank with a Silent One backpacking spells for her when scheme running is done.

Wind Gamin for disposable scheme runners that add mobility.

Mechanical Rider because summoning, mobility, and a bull's-eye.

Arcane Emissary for blitzkreig damage and being able to bounce a spell for Rasputina in melee.
