  1. Gonna go out on a limb and say all masters are themey hence why they come in a starter box. Though I'm beginning to see that replacing or adding a model to a crew in any combination is what takes a list and makes it great. For instance only taking one belle with Seamus and adding a hanged etc. I've been finding when you don't spam minions and add a little variety you wind up with more solutions to more problems that can occur in the game

  2. ok seeing how this is the first post that i pulled up for templecon i just wanna double check something pretty significant. The wave 3 beta stuff....its not allowed correct? I prefer it not to be allowed but obviously im 1 dude. But i defintely see balancing issues here and nothings been edited yet so it could defintely impact the balance.

  3. mobile fire lines are a thing in this game. Ive found if i sit still with my riflemen and dashel doing nothing in the back i end up getting stomped. Things are too fast for this "stagnant fire line". Ive had better luck with 2 riflemen dashel and a sargeant for movement buffs. wk 5 riflemen wk 6 dashel. with walk 6 you can easily charge forward and tarpit the shit outta something with dash. Ive had him tank a deso engine, hes tanked a rail golem, and much much more. Dashels job is to give out buffs and protect his squad and sometimes when things get grim hes gotta put his helmet on and run for an objective. 9 points may seem expensive but ive found that hes been worth it 10 fold. and he can fit into any guild list with his team.

  4. The other reason to take beckoners is also to flood the board with lure casts. 2 beckoned and lilitu and lillith can lure 9 times. Not to mention luring your own models to get into better positions is amazing esp considering neverborn is usually super fast to begin with. I prob wouldn't play that much luring ability. For lynch I default to two beckoned as a brilliance output. And first turn ill use them to catapult themselves and someone else on my team. For other crews I wouldn't play more than 1 most of the time. But for a lillith gaze list I could see it working. Imagine turf war and you can cast lure 9 times a turn. You could literally deny models from being in turf war. Lure also can contest models in reconnoiter as well.
