  1. I have a game coming up with the following strategy/schemes:

    Interference

    Hunting Party, Exhaust, Public Demonstration, Detonate the Charges, Convict Labor

    This game is against Gremlins with Somer, Ophelia, Ulix or Brewmaster.

    I have all the Neverborn masters, which one would you use and what would you run with them?

    FYI, we are using the Jan 17 errata.

    I am thinking of a swampfiend Lilith.

    I wouldn't call this a widespread problem. I would rate Cherub, Marionettes, Daydreams, Huggy and vodoo doll above the puke snake. In fact the poltergeist is the only totem which is often replaced by primordial during my games (can't rate the scribe as I don't play Lucius very actively).

    As others said the Gorar isn't only a greater ss investment but suffers from the placement restriction of his main ability paired with lackluster survival stats. On top of missing Minion synergies from titania. With Collodi I might take him some times as marionettes could be replaced with effigies and one could summon marionettes after Gorar sacrifice himself.

    You can't take the Gorar with Collodi as he is Titania only.

    My usual Lilith growth list is:

    Lilith (7ss pool)
    - Beckon Malifaux
    - Wings of Darkness

    Nekima
    - Mimic's Blessing
    - Rapid Growth

    Cherub

    Black Blood Shaman

    5 x Terror Tot

    I use other lists some slightly different, some completely different depending on the schemes, strategy and opponent but this is as close to a 'ready to go' list as i have for her.

    Let other do the heavy killing and grow the tots using the black blood shaman and corpse markers. put the tots close to the model with Rapid Growth to really get the growth engine going.

    Why the Cherub instead of the Primordial Magic, out of curiosity?

    Rare 2. I am using The box opens, Aether protection and Fears given form. Makes her somewhat durable, but i wouldn't throw her on turn 1 except if i got an exceptional hand. But i am a noobie :P

    I had some blocking terrain coverage that allowed this, plus Nekima protecting her flank.  I don't think my opponent realized how fast she could be on him.

    Since her 0 is also a Wp action, and on a Mask it can be used twice, it's often worth it to spend a high mask/stone to move her 8 inches as a 0 action... it's not simply a reactive ability!

    I used this in my last game with Pandora.  Strategy was Turf War and I made it from my deployment zone to practically the other side of the Turf War Zone on turn 1.  Using two walks and 3 pushes from WP duels.  Getting a Box Opens/Fears Given Form Pandora in your face turn 1 kind of puts a kink in people's plans.

  6. How about this

    Pandora + 6 Pool
    - Fears Given Form (1)
    - The Box Opens (2)
    - Aether Connection (1)
    Primordial Magic (2)
    Barbaros (10)
    - Nephilim Gladiatus (1)
    Coppelius (8)
    Tuco (7)
    - Retribution's Eye (1)
    Sorrow (5)
    Sorrow (5)
    Gupps (4)

    Take Assassinate and Protect Territory.  Use Tuco to take Pigapult out.  Sit on the Turf War marker with Pandora, Barbaros and sorrows.  Copellius to take out scheme runners and then help out in middle if necessary.

  7. I am playing a friendly game on Tuesday with the following setup:

    Deployment: Standard Deployment (4)

    Strategy: Turf War (Rams)

    Schemes: * A Line in the Sand (Always)

    * Assassinate (Crows)

    * Protect Territory (Tomes)

    * Outflank (2)

    * Plant Evidence (3)

    What would you guys pick for this setup? Seems good for Pandora.
