I'd take:
Lady Justice Box (Lady justice, Judge, Scales of Justice, 3 Death Marshals) £20
Nellie Cochrane Box (Nellie, Phiona, Printing Press, 3 reporters) £20
Guardian £4
1 x Warden (the one with the cape) £4
The Alternative Witchling Handler £10
Will also send a PM ...
Cheers, Moritz

Lelu through (0) Lie in Wait for Neverborn is also an option.

Yes, I know ...
But then you only need one Tot, that was my point.

I used the Cherub, plus 2 Terror Tots for this in a recent game. With Sprint they can get up, drop 2 markers, and get in position for what ever other scheme you might need them for (in my case, Leave your mark). Then they can get back and do the same thing another turn.
What do you need the Cherub for, if the Tots do it all by themselves? One Tot and the Cherub could do it, though ...

I don't think Lucius and Nellie really have any business being on that list as they need to spend ap to get those markers down. Any master apart from Zipp can drop 2 scheme markers per turn, and it doesn't really make sense to include them all.
Is Nellie on the list?
And as for Lucius - I think it makes a huge difference if a Master can spend 1 AP to help out with Claim Jump up to 14" away, and any Master basically spending all his/her actions doing Claim Jump by him/herself. Lucius can do it without actually going out of his way ...

To elaborate: once a higher-powered gamer gets bored with the game as it stands, what does that person do? Revert to using lower-power models, happily?
That happens quite frequently, yes.
Exploring whacky choices/combinations, extremely fluffy crews, etc. are all valid, too.

Oh damn, didn't even realize that I had jumped into a Resser thread.
My bad.
So, yeah, play Yan Lo as a TT, than you won't have that problem ...
-
I assume, in your 'must haves' you have the Terracotta Warrior included?
Then it doesn't matter, just swap out whatever you need ...

Nice report, easy to follow. Thanks for the effort!
And wow, what a bloody first turn. I mean, Reva can be brutal anyway, but combined with Killjoy and Bete, that's like a bad B-movie ... ^^
-
Nice. Looking forward to this ...
What are you gonna play?
-
Ah, okay, get it now ...
Thanks for the explanation.

I'm looking forward to the report. And unfortunately, I have no tips to dispense, since my Kirai is still sitting on the paint station, waiting for colour - I haven't played with her yet.

Basically getting two walks out of your big beater for one master AP that has no TN (huge deal).
Maybe I'm just thick, but how are you getting two walks out of Pipes?
-
How much longer have you got till the tournament? A week, two?
-
Yes, but chances of Nekima not passing the test with her Wp 7 are not exactly high.

The (0) attack on Jorogumo has only 2 weak, also if running Emissary it's exactly the amount it heals from swapping upgrades.
2, my bad.
But also including the Emissary AS WELL as those three models (for 37 ss altogether) seems even more excessive.

Wow, 3 Poison on Shenlong for min 3 damage seems kinda harsh ... O.o

Imagine if GW nurfed the Primaris Marines that they just released that thousands of people have invested hundreds of dollars in. It would cause a worldwide riot!
GW didn't do this for almost 25 years, and it was really bad for the game. Now they've copped on and are doing it - since 8th ed. was released, point costs have been changed twice already! And some of those changes hit the same units twice ...
(Cult genestealers going down to 10 points from 18, and then shooting up to 15 again.)
If you're interested, check DE Razorwings, genestealers, AM conscripts and some other things which were considered broken after release and got cuddled almost immediately. So, yeah, using GW as an example for NOT changing points is a bad idea these days ...

Grrr. How do you know? Just the new pics?
It was mentioned by one of the head honchos in the newsletter thread right before the image was corrected. Aaron I think?
1 hour ago, Paddywhack said:Maybe they'll offer it as a freebie in another box at some point.
This is what they'll usually do (see Swinecursed).

i hope they don't get rid of one - I really like the rearing one and he isn't pictured in the shot with just two models.
They did. The box will only contain the other two ...

It can get an 8" push and nimble, and potentially additional to attack flips within 6" from McCabe thanks to Promises upgrade. Also, McCabe can recruit guild hounds thanks to his Infiltration and reactivate some minion, allowing him to up the activation count significantly compared to other TT masters.
It can also get Regeneration and Armor from the other upgrades.

I wondered why there were so many kentaurio in a box. Kind wish at least one had three hooves on the ground.
Well, they are the same price as the Jorogumo. And they have three in the box.
I highly doubt that those Kentaurio can be even bigger than Jorogumo. :-P

McCabe really likes Jorogumo, too.
Model specific tokens?
in Malifaux Discussion

I have a list like that because I am producing tokens for all the conditions in the game. Unfortunately, once I get around to make a condition, I delete it from the list. So, if you want, I have lists like that for Arcanists & Resser (haven't got around to them yet) and a half-list for Outcasts & Neverborn. No list is complete, because I only wrote down stuff from models I'm even remotely likely to be using, but even so, they're long lists.
Write me a PM if interested ...
