When a model as reached it's upgrade limit upgrades that do not count against the limit like Killswitch or Deal at the Crossroads can't be added. Can be circumvented by choosing them first, but still.

The mother reminds me of some underwater vampire/fishman from a swamp thing comic I once read, which I consider a good thing.

Adding a Scion of the Void to a Tara led Resurrectionist crew doesn't give access to Void Wretches or the Nothing Beast.

Sonnia. I pick by model rather than rules and the alternate metal version (with flaming base insert) is my favourite.

On a different note I'm glad to see efforts to speed up the whole process with shipping starting during the sale and not taking a vacation. I found that a bit odd the last time to be honest.

I don't know if he's worth it but I do use my Desperate Mercenary. Mainly because he perfectly fits the theme of my Guild crew, which is old metal models I liked better than buying a plastic crew box.

Decoys can be taken even if nobody has the Killswitch upgrade and both upgrades count towards the upgrade limit.

The Powered by Flame upgrade is listed with a cost of 1 Soulstone while it has a cost of 2 in the book.

Hoffman with the Arcanist Assets upgrade can't hire Joss nor the Mobile Toolkit

They can take it in theory, it just doesn't make a lot of sense.

And when a Nothing Beast is hired into a Resurrectionist crew via Dead of Winter or Faces of Oblivion it can't take the Void Shield Upgrade

The Dead of Winter upgrade doesn't give Tara the option of hiring Death Marshalls

When choosing a Resurrectionist crew Karina can't take the Faces of Oblivion upgrade

Does someone actually use them? 

I do on occasion, if the leaders stats are low enough (not necesarily the Guild variant)

Sooner or later it will bring better results than a normal would have. That is so much more rewarding when everybody keeps telling you the stone is useless.

Wrath, the Neverborn Henchman, has a rule that allows him to lead a crew up to 50ss, as long as that crew is the 6 other members of the band, which comes to 48 points, I think, and a 0 cost upgrade that gives him another AP, and a tactical action, and doesn't take an upgrade slot. You'd be pretty short for upgrades or extra stones (though Wrath, as a moderately costed Henchman has a decent cache), but it would be an interesting crew that could do some serious work...but, really it seems more for flavor and fun than raw power to me, which I'm perfectly fine with. I'll certainly be dropping some cash on that box in a few weeks.

Clearly needs a house rule that allows for Sue to be crammed in there somewhere.

I'm so torn on the Dark Carnival. On the one hand, the thing I like about Colette is the background so why would I want a Nightmare Edition that isn't her. On the other hand, flying monkeys!!! I want flying monkeys!

I was wondering if anyone has good ideas of how to expand that crew while keeping the theme. I was thinking maybe Madame Sybelle as an Nightmare Angelica that looks like some sort of animal trainer with one of the Arcanist beasts as a circus animal.

Any other ideas?
