the way this is shaping up the malifaux circus is really coming to town. Given the location will Jimmy make an appearance...

it has been discussed informally that those in costume would forgo the 5stone advantage (except in the case of Greg) however on the day local player may take a different view. Best to bring a sheet or night gown( for a very terrifying dreamer) just in case.

Masters 2015
in UK
picking up on the chit chat a decision has been made to have a closed season running December through to second week in January (masters side events being start of new season).
It is only 6 weeks which includes Christmas. Can see the logic it could be a fairly quiet period anyway.
Would prefer the rankings just to run through for whole year. The scene is growing, shutting down for 10% of the year seems unnecessary. If the community don't want to play (competitively) the tournaments won't attract sufficient attendance.

happy to come over early Saturday and help out usually up @ 5:30am, old man disease...
-
As per Maria's comments happy to forgo the 5stone advantage..unless it's Greg and his trappers...
-
Assuming we get the numbers would prefer if it was scored.
The +5 sole stone thing may need to be discussed on the day.
Will be dressing up like an iddiot just to cover all bases.

eat it with a guild marshal?

Strongly disagree with exclusion of small stone henchman lead rounds from ranked tournament events. Yes it is more random and unbalanced (though master lead 40ss is equally unbalanced) but just because it pushed established players outside their comfort zone it shouldn't be pushed out of competitive play.
Had two great henchman games at Joelfaux. Issues around terrain (chess board) were far more of a problem than crew composition.

If you go guild a sergeant is a great utility piece the + to will power duels. The (0) action move scheme marker is very good especially in combination with hounds .

Cracking event really friendly bunch. Look forward to seeing some of you in Sunderland.

Lawyer is a strong choice in almost any guild crew lots of utility both offensively ranged and melee, good support and finish the job can be handy. Don't rate Dash even in a Lucius crew, 9 points for a limited support model Franc or peace keeper gives you more

Agree with the principle of implementing a structured system for managing poor / sloppy player behavior (which could be seen rightly or wrongly as evidence of something more serious).
Improved tournament admin with an absolute requirement to record unannounced schemes / scheme targets and crew lists.
Couple of points.
As already mentioned, up the threshold to 3/4 infractions, 2-3 could be too harsh. The issue isn't the occasional error rather patterns of behaviour which needs to be addressed.
Do not apply the system to players with less than four ranked tournaments in the current or previous season. (deals with new player issue)
Change the wording of the definition.
An error they have made in administering the game causes (or is likely to cause) the result of a game to be altered in favour of the player making that error, or their conduct is such that the TO has had to intervene.
deals with errors which cannot be anything other than unintentional are are effectively self managing and can't contribute to NPE.
The system can be further tuned as other issues arise.
I don't believe any rules system will be in reality unfriendly or somehow reflects a negative change in the UK malifaux scene. Just the opposite it is a demonstration that the scene is strong enough to deal with poor behavior in proactive manner which does not leave individual players to put up with this in isolation.
We could leave things as they are and hope the bad behavior goes away on it's own, however it is doesn't there is areal risk the court of social media opinion (the mob) will step in to the vacuum. There have examples of players being hounded out of other tournament scenes for perceived wrong doing.
