  1. Posted this in the wrong forum earlier. It's inspired by some Blanche sketches where he fleshes out his central figure and the action and clutter in the background are monochromatic. Had one suggestion that I add some purple washes to the sepia models. Anyone else?
  2. Thanks Ausplosions, that was a very useful post! Train's just an o-scale New Bright Christmas train from the thrift store. Took off the tank and made a flat deck for better playability. There's 2 or three more passenger cars, but that makes it too big an obstacle to get over/around, it's 3' long in total. I've used them all when we move the train onto the board one car each round. The two wilderness boards are usually used with another building on them, but I did try to stagger the cover so there were no long firing lanes. I was playing Guild's Judgement and didn't find I got too shot up. The western town, I only used buildings that were complete and painted, have a few more waiting on me to get to them. The sewer board, that's half of the crate maze that's in the box but it tends to handicap slow and melee based crews with so much water. I need to redo the tiles with maybe half as many channels. Check out the event link, I think the action pics tell a better story than the pre-game pics.(plus you can see the mine in the big hill piece) Also keep in mind these were 35ss games for a charity event, so the goal was to keep it light and fast, I don't think anyone really played for the win
  3. A few boards made for Malifaux. Normally I use a fair bit more scatter terrain but these were set up for a tourney and kept a little bare. Pics of them in action at http://www.wyrd-games.net/showthread.php?49919-Malifood-BC&p=663255#post663255
  4. Malifood is part of a larger event called Foodhammer that runs throughout the fall. Benefiting the local food bank, $4706.52 was raised, and several tables full of food were donated over the course of 5 events. Here's the link on Facebook if you'd like to check out those other game systems...https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=683757884990963&set=a.267650439935045.70952.236221796411243&type=1&theater And here's some pics from the Malifaux weekend, 14 players participated.
  5. Trying to be a little "arty" with the crew, this is the finished product. It's inspired by some Blanche sketches where he fleshes out his central figure and the action and clutter in the background are monochromatic. Had one suggestion that I add some purple washes to the sepia models. Anyone else?
  6. I've spoken with Damian on Wyrd's PM system and in regular GMails since. Assume he's working through the list and will get to everyone. May also be that he didn't have any questions about your order. His first message to me came about 8PM saturday his time, and the last was well over 5 hours later. He's burning the weekend midnight oil.
  7. Congratulations on the funding. I'm making my pledge at $195 to cover a distressed town and a paddleboat delivered to an international address. Is it possible to get the paddleboat distressed as well? If so what fee would you like to see?
