  1. The combo works, but watch out Opponent's Wp Attack. Vasilisa is very fragile.
  2. So I say "may" and "Finish". 3 wounds may take to kill opponent's essential model, but very expensive as you say.
  3. And you may use Fear givens form's 'friendly damage' to finish someone. Because Fear given form deal damage to your model, so it make Black Blood . This trick is Pseudo-Black Blood Pustule, so If you can use real BBP, you don't need to use this trick. Additionally, Barbaros's Challenge works against opponent's all actions. So opponent's actions targeted his/her other models need to pass Wp Duals, too.
  4. Fears given form is double-edged sword because It deal damage to your other models, too. Keep in mind. Nexus of Power is not bad for survival. But It has rewritten by errata, so you must check http://wyrd-games.net/community/files/download/22-malifaux-card-updates/ And I have a question, do you read Crossroads? I think there are some upgrades for you in the book. For Example, Mimic's blessing is good for survival. Before upgraded model activates, Opponent's Attack Action by Charge & Sh Action's Attack Flips against him get .
  5. Mature will be very useful. But Mature is fragile for his cost, Never forget it. It means You must think about how you protect mature from opponents. For Example, I think Barbaros's Challenge can use to protect him.
  6. So I think Lilith's main problem is thinking about her as Neverborn's LJ, and it makes most problems about her.
  7. Back to Topic, Lilith can protect her and some essential models from debuff condition by terrain control. This is one of her advantage because Neverborn's condition removal is usually very limited. So I think Lilith can work well without condition removal generally. Simply, "Out of sight, Out of condition", too.
  8. Even Neverborn can understand importance of condition removal. But Neverborn don't have good model for it, that makes problem. So I think that your opinion is not 'overlooking'. it is 'choice for other things'.
  9. But I think It is matter of Local Meta. And in my opinion, If someone overlooks condition removal in malifaux, it means he/she needs to learn more things.
  10. Take Collodi & Friends. Remove Condition by Arcane Effigy, Spread Focus to Stitched or other minions by Fated. Kill her by Focused Minions. As the finish, Eat her corpse by Carrion Effigy's Buff. "hmmm... she tastes like zombie." So I mostly use Collodi against ressers. His puppets can solve any problems by them.
  11. I say about what your crew do. not what lilith does. Lilith's point is she is board controller, not killy monster. So she usually get advantages for VP by Board Controls, not Killing. This means you must think about it to build Lilith crew. Some tricks like Slingshot Candy in Early Turns are useful and fun, but your other models must work for VP in early turns. Simply, Make VP gap between you and Opponent and Hold dominant position in early turns. Keep dominant position in mid-late turns. This is How Lilith Crew wins. Lilith is not our Lady Justice or Viks. If You want 'Killy' Master, Lynch and Pandora are better for you. Additionally, I think your 'theme crew' may be Nephilim crew. Because you complain squishiness, and that is not important in Board Control Crews. In my experiences, Pure Nephilim Crew is inferior than Board Control Crew for Lilith. Lilith's true theme is Board Control, not Nephilim. And I think If your 'theme crew' focused to Board Control, you may know what you do in mid-late turns. P.S : But I prefer 'mastermind' style masters like Collodi, Lucius, Dreamer. Because I use them better.
  12. I have 5 Stitched.(2 Blister + 3 Proxy by Putty, But I follow gaining grounds' conversion rules ) 2 Stitched are not enough and I usually need more stitched in Collodi Full-Puppet theme Crew than Summoning Dreamer.
  13. I have focused 'Conversion is acceptable', so I made some 'Proxies' for my own design and/or solution for OOP models by Putty and Other Model bits. These are my incomplete proxy models. (Coryphee, Illuminated x 2, Warden)
  14. I have played only Neverborn, and mostly supporting style masters. So I talk about only Neverborn Tiers. Tier 1 : Dreamer, Lilith, Collodi Tier 2 : Zoraida, Lynch, Pandora, Lucius
  15. I said I and My friend's Plan (But I take lead) is Teaching Basics of Malifaux to Newbies in very short time. But It means if we have enough time, we may play just less-points games. Because We know HH is not 'real' Malifaux likes you. I think your ideas about Picking Strategy and 1 Scheme for HH, 20SS full games are good ideas for teaching Basic, too. So I need to think something more for my teaching program plan by recommending your ideas. And In my experiences and opinions.... Strategy / Schemes are sometimes complicated for newbies. so experienced player needs to guide them. For Example, Frame for Murder is always very useful scheme against greenhorns. Because they mostly kill everything in front of them. Model Combination is complicated, too. HH format is not balanced, so experienced player must think about his/her Crew and guide Newbies. So I think about Lock-in Crews (At least, models) for both sides. It will be helped to solve HH's Balance Problems. Now We are designing Crews as Combination of 1 Henchman, 1 Enforcer, 2 Minions for our teaching program.
  16. Not Sometimes. It usually happens so Pandora solve it by other models. For Example, Pandora usually uses Primordial Magic to solve her VP Collecting Problem. So I thinnk Pandora's crew needs to hire some models for somethings that Pandora can't.
  17. I think Opponent can choose Distract, so I think Depleted can be Double-edged Swords.
  18. Recently, I and my friend prepare Henchman Hardcore as Tutorial, too. Our Plan is Teaching Basics of Malifaux to Newbies in very short time. But we both know Henchman Hardcore is not balanced and we want to show basics as much as possible to them. So we think about using only some locked-in crews and testing them each other.
  19. Brilliance type models problem is they are not good scheme runners, So people recommend scheme runners like Terror Tots or Silurids for Lynch. And Lucius works good with Brilliance type Minions, so I think you can make enjoyable Lucius Crew by Combining Brilliance Minions with Silurids. If you think Lucius need more things, Buy Candy and/or Guild Guardsman type Models. Not yet. But I'm sure that We have a new Illuminated now.
  20. Zoraida's 'Wp 4 or less' models count as Mercenaries.
  21. I think Tuco is better as babysitter. Because Rapid Growth doesn't need to kill Opponents in Melee. And I think Lelu is better as Nightmare. Because Dreamer can summon him.
  22. I add one more thing. Opponent's Lynch Crew. Because they will be able to use brilliance better than your non-Lynch crew.
  23. Wicked Dolls are usually too fragile to be competitive, so Collodi prefer other dolls / minions to them. If you want to use them as essential models, you think about how they survive first. In my experiences, Vasilisa's Ml Attack and A Friend To Talk To are good. But she is too fragile, so I use Vasilisa as Only Supporter.
  24. Oops. I mistake, too. Wicked Doll's (0) Action is good, and It is better with Sewn in Poison in melee(They are same range = 2") But Wicked Doll is very fragile as I say, so Wicked Doll must hide from Opponent's Range Attack while you use Boosting. If it is seen, It may be killed. And AP transfer's some limits may become problem. But you can take Widow Weaver to summon Wicked Doll and/or Vasilisa to use Obey as solution. Anyway, Collodi can use Wicked Dolls better than Lucius.
