  1. Thanks for the reply Fenton :)

I still have a last question though- if I order the single trays instead of the double, would I be able to have two single trays at the bottom but only have one at the top, and then put the tallest figures at the bottom under the place where I have omitted the tray at the top... would the tall figures then be able to just poke through the top as there are no tray?

    - I hope you can understand my question ^^

  2. Yeah they are the same :-)

But I would like the tray with the holes, as they help even further to keep the Miniatures in place. Besides I normally just take models for one crew with me, so I never have a lot of them.

But if I take out the drawer, there should be more then enough room for even the tallest model on a big base?

But I guess I will order the double tray then, as it seems to maximise the room?

But what exactly would I be able to do with the single ones, that I can't with the double ones?

  3. I have now found a european store that sells the tablewar Mini Case mk II, but I got some questions for those that have them or know how they work.

    1. I am thinking about buying 2x 12x30mm Unit-Tray, 1x 6x40mm PP Unit-Tray and 1x 5x50mm Unit-Tray. This way there should be more then enough room for any crew, but the question is if there would even be room for the new taller M2E units if I use both the two shelves AND the included drawer?

    2. I have no idea if I should buy the "Double-Wide Unit Tray" or the "Single Base-Tray"?

    - why would I choose one over the other?

  4. I'm pretty sure Schemes only ever involving dropping Scheme Markers, not other types of Markers. The key is generally that Strategies often involve different types of markers, such as Stake a Claim which drops Claim Markers. Or some of the Story Encounter Strategies and Special Terrain, which involve other sorts of named markers. (Evidence Markers, Book Markers, Gem Markers, etc.)

Yeah I cant think of any schemes where you use anything other then scheme markers. Besides you are not allowed to use scheme markers for things like Stake a claim(which is also a strategy) where you very simply need a Claim marker- a claim marker and scheme marker is not the same :)

  5. The book never says that if one has line of site then the other does, but only because some models have special rules that can effect their sight.

But if you ignore individual model rules then there is no situation where one model can see the other and not been seen itself.

Vantage point rules do state that they apply for both drawing line of sight From the vantage point and to the vantage point (As Thaarup says with a reference)

There really should be a place in the book where it is written though, I think there would be a lot less confusion if the basic rule was clear for everyone "If you can see the enemy, the enemy can also see you". Of course there a models that ignores this basic rule, just as there are many other basic Malifaux rules that can be broken with different models, but it will always specifically state this on the models stat card...

  6. I've been playing a lot of Zoriada lately and learning more about her every game.  So far, keeping her near my shooters and using repulsive to push enemy models away.  Obey to put focus on models like Hans and the Doppel who copies Hans.  Obey to force the enemy to target my Terrifying models and make them paralysed. Bewitching their important models to gain cards.  Have been making use of summoning the Voodoo doll and Hem.  Moving the doll into close proximity to their models and dropping blasts on both of them.  Them suffering damage from the blast and the Hem combined has been a nasty trick.   There's likely many more tricks i haven't yet figured out and hopefully after some more games i'll have her worked out.

    Where are the blasts from?

  7. Can anyone help me find an insidious madness proxy?

I normally love Wyrds sculpts, but I really dont like the old insidious madness, and seeing as it is a wave 2 model, there will most likely go some time before a new one comes out. So it would be awsome if you guys could help me find two models I could use instead.

I am going to order from this site:

    http://www.firestormgames.co.uk/

So if you could find it there, you would be even more awsome! ^^

  8. The Gremiln drawing LoS over the wall is obviously flawed, I might accept it if the Ht4 model where the one in base contact. However my interpretation of the rules (and I am a new player) was you needed to see the base of a model to draw LoS and walls of any Ht block LoS to the base, which represents models hiding behind walls. I would be logical about this obviously but it came up once for us where a Ht 1 wall was between a figure and a Gremlin and because the Gremlins base couldn't be see, we decided that there was no LoS.

I thought the only time this wasn't the case was with Vantage points where seeing the base isn't required?

You should really try to read through this thread again, as it is explained multiple times why you are wrong in that statement :)

  9. Thanks Hoffman, thats a really big help!

In regards to making a crew only to counter another crew- I have no idea what he will bring other then Leveticus of course, so its kinda hard to make a "tailored" list against that. Getting generel knowledge about a master is not something I see as unfair in any way :)

I am furthermore still a bit of a noob, as malifaux is my first miniature game, and the people I play against are all adults that have been playing since they were kids.

But it seems like a grow list if I take Lilith is the way to go... but would you by any chance have any knowledge about the Dreamer?

    - Lilith, Zoraida and the Dreamer are my three Neverborn masters, and I am trying to find out which masters are good against different crews/masters and strategies etc :)

  10. As always I am well aware that you cant just build a crew before you know the schemes etc. But just as with all the other times I have asked, this is just to get a generel idea of what could be good against him. I have read a bit about him, and both his models and himself seems like a pain to play against, so I would like to have just some basic knowledge of what would work :)

  11. Baby Kade stays behind with Lilith for some Punce action behind the forest, while Teddy is just a good beatstick... but you are more or less saying that I shouldent count on actually beating him in a fight with Lilith?

    - Would a master like Zoraida then be better, so you can focus more on controle instead of killing stuff?

Hmm or maybe I should do a grow list, as he will most likely have a lot of abominations?

    Something like this maybe:

    Neverborn Crew - 50 - Scrap

    Lilith -- 4 Pool
     +Beckon Malifaux [1]
     +Living Blade [2]
     +Wicked Mistress [1]

    Barbaros [10]
     +Rapid Growth [1]
    Black Blood Shaman [7]
    Nekima [13]
     +Obsidian Talons [1]
     +The True Mother [2]
    Terror Tot [4]
    Terror Tot [4]
    Terror Tot [4]
  12. I am going up against Leveticus tomorrow, and seeing as I have never faced him before, I would love to get some advice on what to do with him.

I am thinking I need to kill the Hollow Waif thingi ASAP, and then kill Leveticus ASAP before he just continues the cycle?

I wanted to try something new, so I have been thinking about a list like this:

    Neverborn Crew - 50 - Scrap

    Lilith -- 4 Pool
     +Beckon Malifaux [1]
     +Living Blade [2]
     +Wicked Mistress [1]

    Baby Kade [7]
     +Depression [1]
    Doppleganger [7]
    Insidious Madness [5]
    Mr. Graves [8]
    Mr. Tannen [6]
     +Useless Duplications [1]
    Teddy [11]

Would this be any good against him?
  13. From smother: activating within (3) of one or more models with this ability; seems to be the key phrase to me.  It suggests recognition that multiple models would have the ability and therefor would not stack.  So one TN12 WP duel.  If failed, that model receives the slow condition.

From Feed on Dreams: enemy models within (3) suffer 1 dmg when they receive slow.

If you have two Alps within (3) of an enemy model:

Enemy model takes a single WP duel TN12.  They fail: would suffer 2 dmg, one dmg from each Alp.

Hmm, that makes them a bit worse then I thought they would be :/
