    Collodi attacked my Barbaros with (1) Pull the Strings whose damage track is 0/2/7. Collodi only got minor (0) damage. Would that trigger black blood? I couldn't find any trace of 0 damage in the rules, but because Collodi can use any of the 3 triggers that attack action has at any of the damage levels I believe 0 damage should trigger black blood. Thanks and sorry if this horse has been beat to a few deaths (this is Malifaux after all

    Alright, I figured that was how it was to be played. Thanks to everyone for clarifying this rule hickup for me. I've only been playing for about 2-3 months now and this has been the only time my group has come across a problem we couldn't immediately figure out. We really love how the rules for Malifaux are written (we came from Warhammer 40k and their horribly written rules).

    I agree that the rule book doesn't specifically say AP can only be spent in the Activation Phase, but I have a question about spending Activation Points outside of the Activation Phase, I looked. I agree with Clevelander, but I would like a concensus. As much of one as can be expected on the internet.

    The situation: Von Schill is at 1wd at the end of the Activation Phase within Lelu's Thought's Twisted range. During the Resolve Effects Step Thought's Twisted will deal 2wd to Von Schill. Can Von Schill use the 1ap triggered by Slow to Die in the Resolves Effects Step, to spend a Soul Stone? If its important, Lelu was alive after Two Sided was triggered. I guess the question could also be put this way; "Can a model spend ap outside of the Activation Phase?"
