I have a sizeable (and constantly growing) community of Malifaux players at my gaming shop, Good Games Miranda (located in the Sutherland Shire). With this in mind I intend to run several monthly one day events to really encourage people to simply start playing and painting Malifaux!
Date: The 17th of February. These events will hopefully become monthly occurances, so stay tuned for future events.
Time: 10:30 registration, 11:00 start. Rounds are an hour and a half long, with a half hour lunch break after the first round. There will be three rounds.
Location: We are located in Sydney, NSW, Miranda. Travel from the city takes roughly 40 minutes to an hour by train.
Size: 30SS.
Format: Fixed Master, with strategies flipped on the core encounters chart. Schemes are unique.
Signing up before the day is not required to play, however it is encouraged to contact us so that we can determine numbers. You can do so by emailing me at ggmiranda@goodgames.com.au or by giving our shop a call on 95318112.
Entry is $20 per person, however if you bring a piece of terrain (or a board) you will receive $5 off this price.
All money will be put back into the prize pool. I also have some left over shiny stuff to give out, so expect plenty of stuff!
There is no painting requirement, but it is definitely encouraged. There will be a best painted award which will be peer judged on the day, with the winner receiving prizes.
