Clearly it's a deficiency in your awesome glands 'cause that is just dripping with awesome.

[Likewise, someone who lives and dies by the advice of Edna "No Capes!!!!" Mode shouldn't be that enthralled with it, but here we are.]

It looks good, but I think it's silly.

  2. Shen Long, Mei Feng, McCabe and Lynch are the best masters, or they have the tools to deal with most crews at their disposal.

Misaki is decent. But she is very easy to counter with anti melee crews (Like Hamelin) or models like Hannah and Nurse Heartsbane.

Yan Lo isn't good. He just isn't. I've never played a game with him, where I wouldn't have done better with the exact same crew and literally any other master in TT. He's low damage. Chi is hard to come by and it's needed for almost everything he needs to do. Lightning dance is alright as is the spirit thing he can do, but when you add it all up, he's just not up to par.

    I haven't tried Brewmaster yet.

  3. I always warn my opponents beforehand, both of specific abilities and of triggers I might have to counter them. It's a question of empathy for me, I would hate to play against someone, who just waits for you to screw up, and then with glee tell you what you just did to yourself.

But to each his own, I've only played few tournaments, but I'd always prefer being a good sport and lose a match than winning by being the opposite.

Uhhhhhh yah!  Just imagine, like the classic bad-guys from all sorts of shows (And history of course) who have the magic Ink Well & Brush, where they draw any art and it comes to life or something?

You're probably talking about something different, but that's what you made me think of, and I think it sounds sweet :P  I'd love to see a master like that.  Perhaps a sculptor would be too close to Collodi though, with him being a puppet maker of sorts?

Sort of yeah, I meant he would chisel stone and make those creations live, but the painter sounds great as well :)

  5. One of my regular opponents play Leve once in a while, and he doesn't always charge in a match, but I don't think that's a good argument for it not being really powerful. Some games I don't have to rebuild corpus with Yan Lo, that doesn't mean the ability isn't incredible.

As for the change, it is what it is. Just please don't start advocating for focus to receive a similar change (not saying you are, I just smell it on the wind).

(Ps: pls make Executioner either cheaper or faster....you bastards!)

  6. Why would you automatically lose against Kirai in any case?

As for the topic; I think Myyrä nailed it on the head. It takes a practised adversary to identify when you've lost and the attrition game ressers employ can confuse you at times.

  7. I dont mind "Gotcha" as such, but it really depends on how the other player goes about it.

If I make a mistake against an opponent I know and against familiar crews and he doesnt say anything, that is 100% okay, because the fault is mine and the same is true vice versa.

If it's the first time against a finicky crew or model, then i expect someone to point out the "cheese" when we start the game and then it's up to me to remember said cheese. An example would be not explaining the Hangeds aura to a new player or Hannahs bury spell.

But the most important thing is to keep a straight face. Sure it sucks to lose sometimes, but making the opponent feel bad for beating you is incredibly poor form. I know someone, who kinda just gives up in his mind very easily and just mopes the rest of the game. Really irritating when it happens.
