Hi guys! I thought i'd intro my work here first too, so here's my most recent offering - some new pics of an old fave of mine, called 'Done and Dusted'. My old compact cam had utterly terrible colour rendition, especially with reds. These new pics are much closer to the actual model irl, and you can find the awful original shots in my CMON or Wamp gallery if you wish to compare. Original pics - http://www.coolminiornot.com/261345?browseid=3965733 New pics were taken using a pair of remote flashes, instead of continuous light from painting lamps, for a much more accurate colour balance and light quality. My diffusion umbrella's weren't quite soft enough it seems, so I shall improve this with the next mini I think. There's a couple more oldies laying around that I only have relatively horrific pics of that I'd like to re-shoot too, so it should be interesting to see the difference with those also. Hi guys! I wanted to introduce myself here after the powers that be finally let me in! (something to do with an IP ban to stop spammers/scammers) While I enjoy my gaming too, I'm mainly a painter/sculptor I guess, and I've always been drawn to the original sculpts of the Malifaux and PW ranges, and can't wait to do some more soon! I have got Kirai on the go at present, and might enter her in to the Wyrd painting comp on the Wamp forum if I get a chance to finish her in time. I'm looking forward to seeing all the cool crews here, and will hopefully be able to contribute to the painty section of the forums a bit. See yer around!
