  1. its easy to suggest models to add to marcus' crew. but i have his box set plus the jackalope (best model in the entire game). thank you for the turn by turn walk through. i can take a lot of what you said and add to how i play all my games. Being a spell caster/ melee fighter makes him a very unique styled master. i love playing him. models i would like to get for him: -Slate Ridge Mauler (big target, HEAVY HITTER) -Hoarcat Pride (Mostly give Myranda some support, i find she is fragile and cant ever hit any thing with her cb4 fist. i should say have one and turn her into one devour everyone) -Malifaux Raptor (permanent beast... i dont need to say anything else)
  2. i should say that i love marcus. i win with him often. my friend is new so i got to kill his whole team just by exploding his witchlings (Witch was awesome). you guys have a lot of great ideas. Most i already knew. ok let me re-ask my question: 1 turn is mostly a full movement turn. 2nd turn i can reach but at the cost of either 1 ap or (if i am willing to use a high mask) a 0 leap. giving me half an attack. so should i wait till turn 3 to start my attack or go in at 2? i find this problem also happens when i play hoffman. is it better to let the play fall into a trap or rush in?
  3. i recently played with Marcus against Crid. She has a slower crew and if you know Marcus' crew can move (something that makes him great). After the game he told me that i shouldn't send my guys in one at a time... so here comes my point. 1 how do you play marcus? 2 how would you take a team that fights close together? 3 when do you move in for a strike when fighting a slow team when you are a fast?
  4. Can Marcus give an enemy model the beast characteristic and then have Myranda transform into that model (as long as its under 8 soulstones)?
  5. I was hoping to try out malifaux slate ridge mauler. Does anyone have his stats or any place i can find stats on models. Trying a model out before i buy it just things like the smart thing to do.

  7. like a challenge accepted moment. yes. just yes. you could almost do this with all the schemes. you let the opponent chose a scheme for you maybe you get +1 VP and you would obviously get the announce bonus so you could have 3 VP schemes. also bedknobs' "Fighting Fair" scheme stands out in my mind as one as something i might have to try just for the difficulty.
  8. Just wanted to know if anyone else had their own schemes that they made up. example. i play Hoffman with a Peacekeeper. One of the peacekeeper triggers is toss (you push an enemy model after damaging it with your melee) so i pick a piece of terrain and if i can toss an enemy model onto said terrain i get 1 VP (one time per game). also because its a custom scheme it must be announced due to the fact that both players must agree on it. So did anyone have any schemes that they made up?
  9. but one could say that you gain the ability and then assimilate ends but the ability is not assimilate it is just gained through assimilate.
  10. So Ronins have "peasant clothes: regain Harmless." does this mean harmless is lost at the end of the turn.
  11. Ok last i was hoping if someone had another example of this happening.
  12. So why specify that an action ends at the end of the turn if that is the default? ... So even though it says he "gains" the talent, because assimilate is what caused it and it is an action that does not say when it ends that is why it ends at the end of the turn?
  13. Concerning C. Hoffman and his assimilate. I read that the talents that he gains through this end at the end of the turn. One is this true and two why does this happen?
