  1. No Problem! I did not recept any of the posts as hard If I remember it correctly then in the first game it was just my personal fault: The demo-giver told me to fly on a chimney because I had started in cover versus Seamus who was two feet away and McMourning (Brawl with Pandy). So I flew up a chimney but not the chimney the demo-giver told me to. The demo-giver had recommended a chimney far away from the centre but with a good view, whilst I chose a chimney only few inches away from the center. So Seamus began to shoot me there right from the first round and I couldn't do anything but burn $$. Sure she has her Proper Manners but this didn't help. Then with the beginning of the second round I tried to summon a Voodoo Doll (on the roof!) and then fly away. Well, as I said it before, it was my first game and today I regret. You cannot fly away after summoning a doll! XD Yes, I misunderstood the "Raven"-Action as a "walk inclusive". But it isn't. It's more of a "switch" an you'll have to pay additional AP to move. Our demo-giver is a very nice person and I'm sure that he would have given me pardon. But exactly this "Raven"-Ability had been discussed ca. 5 minutes before (when Zoraida flew up the chimney), so we just HAD be hard here (me too!). So, even in the 2nd round Zoraida did not descend from the chiney...and then was shot 2x by Seamus and then lured by 3 Belles, I think. If I remember it correctly, I burned all my $$ on this chimney and left the game with 0$$. The second game must be a brutal mistake (mine too!), because Zoraida surely had $$ when she was lured. I was just stupid, I think. In this 2nd game, Zoraida had 1$$ in the end and all of her crew were dead. She was just hobbling around with her raven. Btw. the Bete fell from a roof and died... (well, not really )
  2. Hmmm---I don't know...XD At first I think I forgot to use $$ at all...and bad luck with the cards. I was just too impressed by the range. I'm still practicing.^^
  3. I just had my second game and I have to say that my personal nemesis is/are the Rotten Belle/s. I know, there are easy ways around the lure but I could not manage it yet. In the first game, one Belle lured my precious Zoraida from a chimney and so the old hag died... In the second game, it was again a Rotten Belle that lured me behind a window which, eventually, led to Zoraida facing a Bette Noire in CC.
  4. WOW! Thank you for this clarification. This made it now totally clear to me given that I would have never thought of it would work like this... There is another question connected to this question, which I think the answer is also "yes": Can a Casting Expert Wk (1) and then cast a (2) spell? Or can he only cast (1) spells with the extra-AP?
  5. Yes, you got that right and thank you for your kind replies. I have to admit, that it's still not clear to me...XD Since you said, you don't have the stat cards I allow myself to post these very few words that bug me: "[silurid receives +2Wk]...while moving in water terrain if it was in water terrain at the start of the action" The rule doesn't state anything more to this.(except that Silurids ignore water maluses at all so he would always have 5+2 and not 2.5+2 but you couldn'T know that! ) It does not say "when" you can activate the +2 (at the start? in the End? While you're in water? XD ) Also, what does "action" mean in this particular relation? Wk-Action? +2Wk-Action? Or even typo activation?? I don't get it.
  6. Ah! Thank you for this answer! This makes it a bit more clear to me. But there is still a question. You're saying: Let's say, the Siluris starts its movement in a pool 4" away from a river that is 2" wide. Could the Silurid choose to make a normal Wk of 4 up to the river, then take its +2Wk (because he is in water) and then Wk his left 1"?
  7. Hi Folks! I'm afraid that my English is far to poor to exactly describe what I'm trying to ask here...XD The ability "Amphibious" says that... "...the Silurid recieves +2Wk while moving in water (and?) if it was in water terrain at the start of the (walk?)action." Are these two conditions? Does that mean, that the Silurid has to walk only through water terrain? And what happens when the +2'' would lead him out of the water? To me it seems illogical that there is a "while" in connection to a "+2" in this rule. It's only logical to say: While in water the Silurid is faster. OR If Silurid starts in water he gets two extra walk for its movement. But the Amphibious-rule, in my eyes, states a mixture of both. Think of the highway: "You're faster on the highway" OR "If you start your journey on the highway, you may travel 2 miles farer" But if you'd say to me: "While you drive on the highway you may travel 2 miles farer" I would always ask: "From witch point?" Sry again for my bad english! XD
  8. What I now have is: Zoraida-Box: Zoraida 3 Silurids = 15 Bad Juju = 10 (I proxy the Voodoo Doll with the small Dolls from the Zoraida-Box) + 2 Stitched Together = 10 So I have a crew to play games with 20, 25, 30 or 35 points. I would like to have a bit more variety in it but since Zoraida doesn't need $$ I would like to stay inside the /5-Scheme... I've learnt that the Doppelganger is a good friend of Zoraida but it is worth 8$$. So I would need a 3 or a 7-point-model to complete the crew. What models can you recommend?
  9. Since the usage of plastics for the new models was motivated by rising prizes for metal a.s.o. I have an anxious question: Will the whole range be changed to plastic eventually?
  10. At first I looked at Kirai but she seemed pretty expensive and I also did not like the idea of having 50% of my minis off-board most of the time... Then I got into Collodi a bit but found him a bit underwhelming in terms of his tricks and possible minions... Ophelia was also an option but every decent henchman needs a master and Somer wasn't really my cup of tea... I forgot to mention that my very first idea was the Dreamer but he seemed much to complicated for a first crew... But in the end there was no question that it would be the hag! So if you have any slippery tricks or slimy tipps for a new slave under her moldy skirt, then let me know! (My first minis will just be the box and maybe the Voodoo Doll - I might proxy it with one of the smaller ones from the box for the first games)
  11. Well, that one was easy...^^ Should have looked up the Wicked Doll's stat card but it's not in the book unfortunately. Thank you all!
  12. In the forums and on pullmyfinger it is said pretty often, that Zoraida can summon Wicked Dolls... Where's this rule to be found? The 1.5 rulebook says, that Zoraida can summon a Voodoo Doll and it is also said precisely what happens when there is already a Voodoo Doll on the board... So, how do the dear valued players come to the conclusion that Zoraida can summon Wicked Dolls?!
