When I was looking at McMourning I had a list just like that! You might want to get both two-packs of canine remains, the way I understood it, they are very good with McMourning. You could get the Seamus Crew instead of the Rotten Belles. Its a small extra price, but gives you another master to play with.

For my turn deck I printed the pdf, cut them out, and printed them at the backside of old Wyvern cards I had lying around (same size as Magic cards). They fit almost exactly. Then I put them in coloured sleeves, covering the backside of my turn deck (which are Wyvern card fronts) yielding me a nice turn deck! Especially given I ran out of yellow ink, colouring the cards a nice Neverborn purple

Nice, always good to know the odds of somerhing succeeding or not.

On a side note: wouldn't is be enough to run the test vs TN 54 times (once with each card) and the opposed duel 54*54 times? That's once for each possibility. You would get true averages that way.

You could also add other stuff to the bases, such as snow. My 40k army got sand+snow+static grass, and that looks quite nice. Add a bigger rock here and there to finish it off

Are all models going to be plastic someday? I would much like a complete plastic crew

When Pandora casts a spell she wins a casting duel, not a willpower duel,

The sorrow loses a willpower duel as it has used its willpower stat, but Pandora did not win a willpower duel.

I had an additional question about this: if Pandora casts a spell which is resisted with Wp, doesn't she win a willpower duel? Willpower is involved in the duel, right? The way you're putting it, it seams that Pandora succeeds a Ca duel, while at the same time the opponent loses a Wp duel.

I had a comparable, situation, where I was wondering if a spell doing dmg equal to wpn dmg to own model would be part of the spells effect and thus be reduced in dmg by magic resistance, as posed to it being a seperare attack and being reduced by armor.

We also happend to play the objective wrong. We had dual Destroy the Evidence, and only after the game it occured that you had to destroy the evidence in your opponent's deployment zone, not your own

Yesterday I played my second Malifaux game. I had a Sonnia Criid Crew (standard starting crew) vs a Pandora crew with a Stitched added instead of the baby boy. We came across a few situations that we weren't sure hoe to resolve. Searching the forums and wiki hasn't yielded the answer, so I want to ask for clarification here.

First, Pandora has arule where she pushes 4" when she wins a Wp duel. There was a Sorrow attached to her. My opponent casted spells from Pandora to the Sorrow, pushing her across the board as thats faster then her own Wk.

Question 1: can you push yourself up a wall? From what I read in another thread it seems that you must move the height as well. So 2" to climb 2".

Question 2: is it possible to push oneself over a chasm. Or in this case, from one balcony to another with ~2" of open space (not floor) in between it.

Second I cast the flame vurst with Sonnia. Damn, that spell is lethal! The trigger says you can place the template 2" from the target.

Question 3: we had two ways of interpreting this trigger. Do you place the first template on the target, and the others witin 2" of eachother, or do you place the first template within 2" of the model, and the rest touchng another template?

Question 4: if that would turn out that the original target is no longer under the template, does he still take damage?

We had some other rulings sorter out fine with the rulebook. We still have a lot to learn thanks in advance for the answers.

Ar our local gaming club I was introduced to the game by henchmen-wannabe Sunabe. Having played lots and lots of warhammer 40k, and really disliking Warmachine, I was sceptial about this new game. i loved it! i played the Viktoria's against Rasputina. We did a simplified scenario that ended in a draw with my last minion blowing up the last construct, which took her out.

So I have spent hours and hours allready at the site and the pullmyfinger wiki. Trying to figure out what crew to start with.

Really looking forward to more games!

My name is Tim, and I have played my first game of Malifaux yesterday. I manage the website for our local gaming club, Alphen Games Guild (The Netherlands), and Sunabe, Henchmen wannabe, has introduced me to the game. Had a lot of fun running Viktoria, ending the game in a draw as the last exploding construct took out my last dude.

Determined to play more Malifaux, and am devouring the forums and the wiki atm to decide which crews to play. Really liked the game, as opposed to other skirmish games like Warmachine, which just didn't interest me.
