  1. Hey, I'm Nathan. I'm from a regional town in Australia. A local couple opened up a gaming store last month (The closest thing we had to that was a book shop that used to sell Citadel but they closed down about 8 years ago). The closest gaming stores is on the coast which is about a 6 hour drive away. So I've known about miniatures but never had a real reliable way of getting into them. I had a look around and Malifaux caught my eye. I like the setting and unique combination of genres. It also seemed cheaper and smaller than if I got into Warhammer so I went home and googled. Bought the rule book and read through it. Now have the Kirai Spirits of vengeance box and plan to start painting by the end of the week. Going to go back once I've started and pick up a Lost Love, more Seishin and maybe some Gaki. :radioactive:
  2. Thanks for the advice. I live in a small town and only recently a gaming shops has been opened and they only have citadel paints. I might give them and vallejo a try. I might use black undercoating as I was going to use grey as a main colour on most of them. I think it might be strange to grey undercoat and then use grey base on top. I will figure something out! Thanks again.
  3. Hello, I have recently bought the Spirits of Vengeance set and am curious about what paints to use. I have never painted miniatures before and have heard a lot of different opinions on which brands of paint to use and what colour to undercoat my models. I've been told to use grey spray paint to undercoat and vallejo paints instead of white or black and citadel paints. So if anyone could point me in the right direction and explanation on the differences. If that's too much to ask I will keep searching Google.
