  1. Yes his Activation would be ended. But the current Action has not been resolved yet.

    Page 36

    End Activation

Any game effects that happen at the end of the model's Activation are resolved now. As with start of Activation effects, the controlling player determines the order in which the effects resolve.

After effects are resolved any unspent AP are lost, and the model's Activation is over.

Sub Zero: After this model suffers damage from a Ml Attack, immediately end the Attacker’s Activation.

Neither the rule book or subzero says end the current Action. What would happen would any end of activation effects would go off (hence why I mentioned boondoggle) then you would complete the current Action. But onslaught will go though.

  2. I think people are actually missing something here. The only reason dreamer gets to decide to pitch a card is cause that is how his trigger is worded.

Marcus and kirai once there trigger is declared EVERYONE knows that they are not taking the damage or the effects. They don't get the choice to keep it to them selves. If there is a valid target to pass it off on. They can't choose not to pass it off if there are targets around them since that is no doing what the trigger says.

Dreamer has the option to pitch a card or take it. The other 2 don't. So once that trigger is declared there is no take backs (tournament here not friendly do what you please games) you must do what it says.

That is the disconnect I fear. Once that trigger for Marcus or kirai is chosen rules wise yes back tracking ever so slightly but in the flow of the game. I am pretty sure you don't Mark all the damage you suffer then erase x wounds for armor then erase x more wounds for prevention etc. You look at all the effects that can come into play then after all is said and done you mark wounds on model x. So in his case trigger is known. Do what it says. It does not say reflip damage and start step 5 all over again.

This whole process literally takes less time than it took me to write this post.

  3. Only and only after damaging says don't remove the model. After successful failing resolving do not. A model not in play can't push or heal or dance. Its no longer part of the game.

Both triggers happen. My reasoning you don't need an activation to make an attack. But funny things would happen if killjoy was near any of the boondoggle. He would suffer those effects first. Then make his strike.

Subzero does not say end the current attack action.

Edit I don't see why a surge trigger would fail to work. But if the model is not in play pushes, places, pulses, etc would have no effect.

  4. Your right bengt! So if I am first player and resolve burning. Then you as second player explode and give me burning well as first player still I need to resolve my conditions still. Since it is clearly stall the upkeep phase. Then after resolving these new conditions. You as second player can resolve yours. Until we as players have successfully resolved all conditions that need resolving. If we ho back and forth till this done so be it. Bit no end of turn condition is escaping UPKEEP !!!!!!!

  5. Well why we are here lets talk about Austringers. Distract trigger. I am betting 99% of people don't flip for damage. Cause it doesn't do any. We know this since we know what trigger is being used before the flip.

You are reading static rules which I agree should be clear. But in actual play it's quite smooth.

Also need to change kirai. And why pointing out flaws tell them to change dumb luck. ;)

  6. I find it helpful to post the rule in question.

    (2) Where's Teddy?: Place this model into base contact with a friendly Teddy within 15". Then, push Teddy up to 6" in any direction.

Does not say anything about los. If it did it would say "friendly teddy within 15" and los" or would say "target friendly teddy..."

Buy since it has neither just need to have a friendly teddy within 15"

  7. Edit: I was wrong and this is why

Drawn to Death: This model may begin the game buried. When a Living or Undead model is killed, this model may unbury in base contact with the killed model before removing it from play.

Bete's ability is a when killed. Killjoy is an after killed.

Bete in this case would appear first which means killjoy won't heal.

    Also from the faq

Q: If a model with the Eat Your Fill Ability kills a model with the Explosive Demise Ability, which Ability occurs first? Does the Attacker heal from Eat Your Fill first, or does the Defender deal damage with the Explosive Demise Ability first?

A: The Defender would deal damage with the Explosive Demise Ability and then the Attacker would heal due to Eat Your Fill. Explosive Demies happens “when” the model is killed and Eat Your Fill happens “after” the model is killed. (1/1/15)
