Yeah, I generally discard it turn 5, but before that, it makes the deck much more reliable, particularly when flipping multiple cards.

Red joker I tend to try to save for damage against a key model, but might use it to win or hit a trigger on a key duel. If I can get straight damage and cause severe + weak, something, it's probably dying. 

It's true. And if you Howl beforehand to decrease their WP......once you turn them into a beast they get the +2 Wp instead.

 

I'm not a big fan of using Alpha on enemies...though I certainly will if I think I can reap a big benefit out of it. With Domesticate up, Alpha an enemy that's standing next to your RSR or Myranda (or both) and just have them attempt to walk away.....enjoy the damage they take from Wicked.

I'd say it's something to keep in mind. When you take over an enemy model, you can often cause some unexpected damage and ruin your opponent's positioning at the same time. But that's tougher to plan for than just using your own models.

Aaron mentioned that Wyrd was hoping (no promises) to do this every other month for the rest of 2015, so there'll be plenty of opportunities to collect.

In terms of crew value, and I think 18 (including cache) is roughly where the value is. Definitely much more than the 13SS henchmen get. That puts the non-cache cost of most masters around 15, which, compared to the most expensive other models out there, seems like a fair comparison. 

Do we know if Brewie is out? Anyone seen it in the wild? Hear rumors of "store X" has it but store X is always in some remote place like Antarctica, or Oklahoma.

There was a picture of the box being held by a hand, but it was clearly photoshopped since Brewmaster doesn't exist.

What if you don't have a participating LGS? None of the stores around here carry Wyrd products. 

You can likely order Wyrd products into your LGS since most of the major distributors carry Wyrd. Just tell them what you want and that you need to buy it in June, and you should be good to go.

Myranda is one of those models that opponents like to kill fast though, since if they don't she has a habit of becoming a cerberus which kills lots of face. 

Is malifaux child being errata'd to return to the correct power level from 1.5e?

The one shot quasi-armour was a nice boost that wasn't on the 1SS version, but I think the biggest thing is that people didn't realize quite how good imbued energies was. 

It's funny how in testing at 1SS for +1 Df, it was an auto-take, and at 2SS with the one shot quasi-armour, it's only borderline worth it on a few models occasionally.

Condition A causes +1 damage and people have no issue with it adding damage to no damage. 

Condition B causes +2 damage and people take issue with it adding damage to no damage. 

The fact that one stacks is the reason for it doesn't substantially change the fact that the mechanic we're worried about is worded the same. 

Right, but the important part is comparing to lawyer's fees, which has very similar wording to what's being discussed here.

I don't think it's been properly resolved. 

However...considering how lawyer's fees works, I think there's a strong argument with rebel yell on Johan doing damage when he's got Hallucinogens.

I think they were only last blossom for a week or two in the middle of playtest. They'd be ridiculous if they were last blossom (they're ridiculously good as is without it). 

Having a good shot with a blast and counterspell make the dawn serpent a very different model than something like Izamu...it just really isn't comparable.

I think Yan Lo at some point may earn himself a bonus upgrade to add a new twist to his playstyle (maybe something to boost the spirit approach with him?).

Last Blossom got cuddled in terms of choice since smoke and shadows was too good. Fuhatsu not being last blossom was the real miss in terms of models that could have used the characteristic (he would have also been the perfect model to hold both Hidden Agenda and Smoke and Shadows).

The most important part is that it throws 10ss Myranda upfield, and Myranda is a piece you want around your other models supporting them. 

Yeah....it's a bit less flexible, but a one card draw every turn is something many arcanists are willing to use 2SS and an upgrade slot on their master for. A Wp buff and the ability to draw up to 2 cards depending on how the turn is going is well worth 3SS.
