  1. If it wasn't for the wonky wording i would agree with you. Mimic Talent says "Gain 1 Talent . . ." if it had said something to the effect of "Treat this model as if it had 1 talent possessed by target model" then i can see that Mimic would take it away, but mimic actually gives the talent to the doppelganger. once TOoM is on the DG Mimic tries to take it off at the End Closing step but it shouldn't be able to because this talent cannot be removed by any means.

It feels wrong, but with the Errata on Jack Daw's 'The Oldest of Magics' saying "This Ability cannot be negated or removed by any means," if you were to Mimic 'The Oldest of Magics' with the Doppelganger, wouldn't she keep the ability for the remainder of the game? Someone please explain why it does or doesn't work this way, because right now I'm looking at it as Mimic grants the ability and at the end closing Mimic takes it away, but the ability granted says it cant be removed.

  4. Thanks for the educating. Jack Daw is another one with lots of fun stuff to mimic. Suppressed Memories and Heart Stopper for some instant death options. The Oldest of Magics will make your DG fairly defensive for a turn. I've used DG and Sue for extreme card advantage. copy Hurt, use Hurt for 3 cards, then (0) Mimic Healing. after playing Magic: The Gathering for ever (recovering "addict" lol) i've always said card advantage is what wins games. 6 extra cards a turn is nothing to sneeze at. also some fun stuff is with Zoriada and Ophelia. copy Ophelia's Pistol and Calculated Luck trigger for some extra damage potential. you can copy Zoriada's WP and Honeyed Words from Beckoners for some all but guarenteed brilliance distribution. Really DG with Beckoners in general is pretty gross. An extra sales pitch out a turn. Yuk!
  6. Mr. Tannen and a doppleganger. Doppleganger, Pandy, and Tannen all start in base contact with eachother. Doppy mimics link from a sorrow and Unhealthy Relationship from Pandy. Tannen links to Pandy. Pandy then runs around doing her shinanigans with a 6" Tannen debuff
