  1. Started out with Colette, got myself Kaeris and Ramos. And Marcus is on his way. Voted Ramos, for me he is just solid. Kinda a defence turret^^. Can take a punch, make some spiders and creation! and Avatar if need to run or fight!
  2. I do have some un-opened box of Dark Eldar, if this post is still valid.
  3. Founds it! Thank you very much Omenbringer! And sorry for our doubt^^. We just wanna get this game right!
  4. Thanks for the clarification. New I had looked at it somewhere^^. However, my freind tells me it dosen't state on his drill seargent card that it's not limited to 1 Link. But as you say, the 1.5 might clarify this shortly. Thanks for the response!
  5. Hello! I'm afraid this might be an re-post of some sort. But diden't managed to find my own answer by search, checking FAQ/Errata & Clarification, nor reading the rule's manual. So, a freind of mine tell's me that the Link action: 1: Ends in the Closing Phase 2: You are only able to link 1 model to 1 model (ie, 1 sorrow to pandora, not 3 sorrows to pandora, for example.) Could i get some clarifications to this? a "link" that brings me to the right place of clarification XD Cheers! Ps: And sorry if this is an re-post. ds
  6. So, not to start to many threads, i figured i would continue here. We had our second gaming day today. The Seamus player diden't show up due to illness. So dident get to practice your tips today. However, i did first face up against Perdita. And i do must say that my hatred is growing against her. Def 8 is aweful=(. Used Ramos, and all my high combat dudes (Coryphee, Steamborg and Mech.Rider). I managed to pull a 4-3 Win. But i do have to say i struggle against Perdita. Every time she is on the table! Game 2, i faced Lilith...Def 8 again...an Lilith growing list, so 2 Matures, Nekima and Lilith turn 2. And a third mature later on in the game. I used Kaeris, and managed to kill the Matures, and "distraced" nekima and lilith (did cost me all but 1 Gunsmith and Kaeris). So, any tips vs does high def masters? Aswell as hard-hitters =/ A final note! I don't follow on Deckers, "use drain souls" tip. Would you mind to elaborate? Cheers!
  7. Thanks for your thoughts! I'm looking on getting the Hoffman kit next. So my aRamos will be able to summon a Watcher. The Colette, and all her girls WP tricks sounds interesting, so might bring that up next time. And Gunsmiths! And Kaeris! Got a lot to tryout it seems^^. Good thing we got a gaming day coming up! Cheers! And let me hear if you get any more input. And thanks Gruesome to point out some stuff from the other side of the table;).
  8. Hey! We did have our first Malifaux get-togheter this weekend. And I ended up facing aSeamus. I myself play Arcanist. And I could do nothing but flee=/. I had picked an construct heavy crew, but without it, it feelt like I would have been lost. Any tips or tricks agains aSeamus for an fellow Arcanist? Cheers!
  9. Hia! I´m rather new to the Wyrd and Malifaux hobby, and I most say that I love it! The models, rules and fluff behind it all is just great! However, there is one thing that struck me to be a bit sad. All the models are just wonderfull (even if the Soulstone Miner is a bit boring^^). And this leads me to "collecting" a lot of models. And I'm glad there are multiple sculpts on your ordinary minions. But there are some that I feel could use more sculpts, that are not induvudial models. The Bayou Gremlins and Malifaux Rats are great example of this. Bouth Hamelin and Jones are "summoners", and you tend to use a lot of Rats/Gremlins when you play them. But there are only 4 Bayou Gremlins, and 3 Rats as far as i know. Same thing goes for the Senshin for Kirai. They are Rare 5 if I'm not misstaken, but only 2 models available. I know converting and alt. manufacturers are options. But converting comes easier for some then others, and with Wyrd having such great style and quality in their models, alt. manufacturers dosen't always fit in. I know Wyrd realeases a lot of new models on a regular basis, and I'm thankful for this. Aswell for some cool alt.sculpts here and there. My question, after this long ramble is, is there any planing on adding more of those "rank-and-file" kind of minions? I don't know if this question has pop-up before, and if so is the case, I apologies for "re-posting". And I'm sorry for this long post for a simple question, but I wanted to have some "meat" with it^^. With Regards//E
  10. Coryphée Duet and Mechanical Doves and you are done! XD Well, for a starter at least. I've started with Colette myself, and the doves and the duet really helps her alot! Hope this is of any help!
  11. Thank you for your kind response Ozz! Okay, I will be going for a 36"x36" table, talked to my brother today (who is an carpenter), and he will help me build the board itself, so I can get to building terrain during my vacation later on. Thank you for the tip on totems, but this raises a question. What is a totem? Whats special with them? I only got the core rule book, and can´t find totems in it. I´ve ordered the 2 expantion books, so I do belive I will get to know soon, but some quick note on what they are about can be helpful. Also, im wondering what Cassandras (+1Nimble) is. During our first game, we just played it as Fast. A freind of mine is coming over tomorrow, for my second demo of this cool and interesting game. Any good at hand tips for demoing Malifaux? Cheers!//E
  12. Thank you for your quick response Guild Monkee! So, I went down to my local game store and tried Malifaux out with one of my freinds. It took us sometime to play a very basic game. This thing with many unique abilities and what-not on each charachter did take some time to get into, and understand, but it was great fun! As expected, after reading the rules once again when I got home, we did a few misstakes, but this is to be expected. Better luck next time;). However, the game was such an success, my freind ordered himself an box-set of his own and I did order expands for my boxes. So, I do hope we will get the hang on this, and get more ppl playing! One thing that struck me is the size on a suitable gaming table. In the book it says 3´x3´ for scraps, but this seems huge! Do you experienced folks play on 3´x3´or is there an "alternate" size that is recommended? Cheers!//E
  13. Hello! I´m a young wargamer from Karlstad in Sweden. I´ve stumble across Malifaux late 2011, and decieded I wanted to try it out. Been playing TCG and Warhammer for about 10 years, and this new way of playing a cool skrimish game caught my attention! I did order myself the core rolebook and 2 starter sets to try this out with one of my freinds. However, life, girls and what-not got in the way, so not until now i´ve got around assembling them. So in the coming few weeks, I should have read the rules, and toss down a couple of demos on my unsuspecting freinds! I have a couple of simple questions tho, while im at it. 1: I did noticed that there is a v1 and v2 on the cards. My Pandora box has v2, but my Colette does not. Anyway to get a hand on the rules, or preferable the cards? 2: After only browsing through the rules to get an idea what im getting into, I wonder, what is the "standard" amount of points people play? 3: I bought an Colette Show Girls box, and an Pandora, Legion of Sorrows box. Any tips and ideas how to expand upon those? Thank you for you time! And if you are in the nearby area, let me know;) And thanks Wyrd for some awesome minatures! //E
