  1. I paint sitting on the floor of the living room. I got sick of dropping mini's when painting at my desk, and my wife is very understanding and our kids are grown up so there's no real reason why I can't. My cat however has a terrible habit of walking through my palette, and leaving a little trail of multi-coloured footprints across the floor. They wipe up, or scrape off no problem, and the cat can be cleaned. What really caused the problem is when she jumped off the windowsill, straight into my work box and landed on a tube of superglue. Cost a small fortune in vets bills to have the glue removed from her foot.
  2. Little query has come up, and I think I know the answer but would be interested to get some clarification / opinions. If I am playing against Pandora, and fail a WP duel in range of Pandora, 2 sorrows and a doppleganger mimicing emotional trauma, who deals the damage first ? I am imagining that the Pandora player will choose the order in which the various wounds are done, but we've been chatting about it and have kind of talked ourselves round in circles somewhat.
  3. I may well have a Cawdor gang and some ratskins tucked away somewhere. If you'd be interested in a straight swap for the Hooded Rider, I can have a dig and see what I come up with ?
  4. For me, the key appeal of Von Schill is as much how fun he is to play with. I run Ressers, and use Von Schill very often. He props up certain weaknesses of the faction, and offers a lot of options in game with his speed, quality ranged attack and Hard Ass ability. But more than that, he is an action hero bounding about the board doing cool stuff. To me he's a cracking investment in Soul Stone terms, as he offers so much, and the best £5 I've spent in Wargaming as he's so much fun to use. He's not always the best option, and he's not invincible but I've never put him on the board and not had a blast with him, and that's what it's all about really.
  5. It's a very straight up and down solution, but Killjoy gives you the equivalent of an intercontinental ballistic missile. 10" charge against neverborn, melee expert, easy to deliver to wherever you need him and he hits like a truck. No matter what neverborn is causing you irritation, the generous application of Killjoy will soothe the itch.
  6. When I'm running Nicodem, I am tending to move away from summoning as a key part of my plan. Regard the whole mechanic as a nice bonus when it comes off, but tend to rely more on Bolstering Nicodems minions as this is a more reliable aspect of his abilities. I tend therefore to not worry too much about corpse counters. One or two for Mindless Zombie hijynx is nice though, and Mortimer works well enough for this, and offers some much needed mobility to the crew. I can see Rafkin and some dogs being a good solution, but I'm not sure I like him well enough to replace the Gravedigger, and dogs are something that has never performed for me at all. If I kill them myself I never get the crows to capitalise on the corpses, if I let them live they always disappoint. Generally speaking, I'd rather take something like a Crooked Man, where I can get more mileage out of the initial model then recycle it when it gets whacked by the enemy. I love Killjoy with Nico. He's not cheap and will dictate a lot of your other points spend, but against the right crew he'll generate you corpse counters like nothing else.
