thanks for all the responses guys. I am hoping this thread can become somewhere I accumulate my questions and ans, along with tips I pick up and tactics which work for me. had aa second game using same list,KIraqi,lost love ,izamu,datsu,desp mercenary,dog,5 shesin playedplayed contain power and chose frame for murder on Keanu and hold out game was great fun with zero vp each, I was a lot calmer with my decisions, decided not to kill things in turn one and preferred the room it gave me to summon shikome and ikera. most fun thing was getting all major spells off at some point, so got a bit more of an idea of what the crews possibilities r. also sprouting izamu was great biggest error was charging him into a group of three instead of the master which may have one me the game, just didn't realise how destructive he is. anyway sorry about my disjointed ramblings, just collecting my thoughts for future use

Hi all going to keep track of my experiences with kirai and crew as I learn to use her. used her for first time today and honestly didnt know what to do. Too many options I guess. But really enjoyed it a breath of fresh air after being used to Viks this is what i took kirai LL datsue desp merc canine remains 5 sheisin izuma went for sacrificing dog and merc, made a few mistakes, mainly burning through control cards and ending up with nothing left to use for turning izamu into spirit, didnt manage that whole game. Also only got ikeari off once and my shikome died real quick. learnt lots, mainly to prioritise what is important to achieve and not waste effort on getting little stuff to cast. izamu killed a rail golem in one turn which felt awesome. any tips feel free to chime in I wont get offended promise

Today my izamu made its first outing and it absorbed everything a rail golum could throw at it then smashed it on one activation

Thanks guys been reading up on kirai and am really drawn to her and a spirit crew, only thing putting me off is that i play against a seamus crew, but the same player has 2 other crews. I think he will eventually own all factions so no biggie. Also really fancy the dreamer and neverborn with all the options it brings, i am put off by the errara on him not being on his stat card, lilith seems fun but want a change from choppy list and vics melee focused play this may be a totally wrong comparison. I also like the teddy and kids got a knife link Decisions, decisions.

Thanks for all the info guys, i will be making good use of it. Had a terrible game last time vs guild with sonia, austringers x2,and witchlings. Austringers hid behind building and peppered vics after popping my soc in turn one. It was 25 ss game i have no idea what i could of done, perhaps lead with my 3 ronnin and follow up with vics. It was first time i have ever not enjoyed a game. I know it down to my lack of correct use with vics

I have spent the last few months playing vics rather unsuccessfully, while i am not giving up on them, i would like another crew from a different faction for a bit of variety. so what are known as more competitive crews and what are the filthiest(most difficult) lists to play against. looking for a master with a variety of tactics, any suggestions welcome.

Thanks guys been using the soc and 3 ronnin lately after reading this and it has improved my crew a lot, tbh i need to learn how to use them more effectively so that i have a game plan.

Hi all. I am after some advice on using my viks more effectively, i started playing earlier in the year and havent had much success. I know its because i am not using the to the best of their ability, i play against a sonia crew with austringer in and this will soon be 2 as i know my mate has picked up a 2nd one. Also play against saumus who destoys my crew single handedly. i have the viks boxed set and have picked up the odd model as they caught my eye, hans, convict, ronin x3. i havent settled on a crew but this is what i tend to use viks taelor johan ronin x 2 convict any advice appreciated cheers hob
