It's sounding like pairing her with Ramos or Colette is a good plan, then. I really like the construct models, so that's good to hear. It sounds like it would be a good choice to expand into either the Colette or Ramos box, then, to get a better mix of models and synergies? I'm not really clear on what "running her with a Master" means; it's not covered in the book anywhere I could find. Is it because she's labelled as a Henchman, and so someone else would be the Crew Leader and she'd basically be a really powerful model in their Crew? I'm not thrilled with the idea of playing Marcus; the beasts theme and the beast minis don't really do it for me. Luckily it sounds like I can do just fine without him?

Hi everyone! New Malifaux player, getting used to the game still. It's taken me a bit to get into the game, since I've been trying to find an aesthetic that I liked, and settled on Kaeris. I picked up her box, but am clueless as to where to go next, purchases-wise. Is the Kaeris box good on its own? If not, what do I still need to make it solid? I really like the Gunsmiths in the box, am kind of 50-50 on the Fire Gamins, and of the other models I've seen, I like the December Acolyte and the various constructs, slightly less so the beasts. I was thinking of (eventually) expanding into Colette, because I've heard she's tricky and I like tricky, but also that she was very hard to play. Any advice would be awesome. I'm kind of at a loss as to where to go from here.
