That's actually great. We have very little plans for the entire weekend so if people want to do some pickups, maybe we can either arrange times here and see if anyone else is interested. Does Wyrd have their own 'zone' at the convention where all the events they do take place? Is there a place they can do a pickup game waiting area or sign up sheet, or should we just make those arrangements on the forum beforehand?

Seconded! Both my wife and I were hoping to play. I did the kickstarter but i've not had any luck finding any local games. It looks like there were only a few events and they're all sold out. I've never been to Gencon before - is there a chance new games will open up, or is it more or less set in stone?

I don't have a lot of people to play with at home so my wife and I were both hoping to play some Malifaux at Gencon - we're going for the first time this year. As far as I can tell, there isn't any 'regular' malifaux being played at gencon (or at least... nothing available?) The enforcer brawl ones are just one mini, right? Is there any way to play full games at the event? Malifaux and Through the breach are literally 85% of the reason we're going, and both of them are sold or not available. (I thought registration started today, not sunday. Ugh!) Is there a waitlist system for events? Are there other events not listed on the site? Thanks for any suggestions..

Hi Everyone. I'm thinking about starting up Malifaux with some of my friends, and have been trying to get all of the back story information together to better persuade some of my on-the-fence friends. I have the smallish rules book, and I just got the two newer books - twisting fate and rising powers today. My question is about the initial book that appears to be out of print or out of stock everywhere. I know the rules are updated in the newer book, but I'm wondering if there is back story content that can only be found in that book. I just don't want to start on chapter 2 of a book, is all... and i'm really interested in the fluff backstory because it's a great selling point on why we should start playing the game. Does anyone know if that is available anywhere? Or how much content is really included? I'd appreciate any info that anyone can give. Thanks!
