  1. My application for holiday has been denied for this!! So lame. Was looking forward to two days straight of Malifaux, especially seen as no one seems to play in Bristol anymore. Every Thursday I am at C'n'T... no opponents.
  2. Doing Badly with Seamus does not appear to have anything to do with skill level. If your opponent brings a non-terrifiable crew that does not drop corpse counters you are pretty screwed.
  3. OKie doke. There's a whole lot of stuff I find confusing about Collodi. So here goes. If i walk then use pull strings with a marionette is the maximum I can move 8" away from my Collodi? Or is it that I can't end more than 8" away? It's just that I was advised my someone at my games club that after casting Puppet Show that I could walk-walk-pull strings. Thus after marionette number 4's activation I had the capacity to move 60" or 5'. This seems wrong. As I type this the answer appears to be froming in my head and I imagine I have a top speed of 32". Thanks in advance. Also, any good tips for models to add to the collodi starter? I have 2 stitched togethers
  4. Doesn't the nurse's reactivate spell/ability cause you to be sacrificed at the end of the turn?
  5. I've only got into Malifaux recently but since starting I have noticed that Wyrd release stuff in waves. Book 1 this and Book 2 that. Sadly I fear this may end up killing the game like it did one of my other favourites Monsterpocalypse. The problem with wave release is that you inevitably suffer from power creep, where the newer models are just bigger stronger and more effective than the previous lot. The amount that people talk about the differences between book 1 and book 2 masters does make me worry that the game is already suffering from this. Wave one has terrifying models, well to counter that worry loads of wave 2 characters have anti-terrifying counter measures. Creating new masters and minions that play differently rather than play better is what is needed. Though at the end of the day there are only so many ways to skin a cat... i think it's like 8.
  6. my mistake, one of the posts just said that they hoped the doubles rules were sorted. At no point does the original say anything about doubles. Excitment!!
  7. Rights I'm in. How do doubles work? Hopefully I will have some resurrectionists ready to run amok by then. On a side note this forum is ageist as it does not allow to input an age over 100. Not that I am but I don't see why wyrd need my bday and i am reluctant to hand out any unecessary info these days
