    Shared Treasure Hunt (Gaining Ground Variant)

    Both you and your opponent have uncovered the location of an important Malifaux artifact, and must race to be the first to claim it.

    Setup

    Place one 30mm Treasure Counter in the center of the table after Crews have deployed, but before the Encounter begins.

    Special

    Beginning on Turn 2, a non-Insignificant model in base contact with the Treasure Counter may perform a (2) Interact Action to pick up the Treasure Counter. A model carrying the Counter can drop or pass it to another model in base contact as a (1) Interact Action. A model carrying the Treasure Counter changing position on the table by an effect other than the Walk Action or leaving play drops the Treasure Counter in base contact with itself before changing position. While carrying the Counter, a model reduces its Wk to 4 and cannot have its Wk increased by any means. Spirits lose the ability to move through other models and the ability to ignore terrain penalties while carrying the Treasure Counter. Models lose Flight or Float while carrying the Treasure Counter.

    Victory

    At the end of each Turn after the first, if the Treasure Counter is carried by a player’s model and that model is not engaged with an enemy model, that player scores 1 VP up to a maximum of 4 VP.

    Setup

    Divide the table into equal quarters.

    Special

    Insignificant models do not count toward the Victory condition. A player controls a table quarter when the majority of models completely within that quarter are theirs.

    Victory At the end of each Turn after the first, a player scores 1 VP if he or she controls more table quarters than his or her opponent, up to a maximum of 4 VP.

  3. Really enjoying your bat reps. They're a perfect distraction for a few minutes when work gets too intense/boring. Also it's interesting to see what different masters actually do in practice (for those of us who're new to the game). More please!

    Glad your enjoying them. hopefully I will be getting a game in sometime this week.

    What do I Bring: A malifaux crew, tape measure, fate deck( limited number can be loaned), a fun attitude.

  5. Kade is fun. Df 7 on a minion is great, ht1 means he can stay out of LOS while moving up field. Is he as damaging as lelu? No. But I find him more survivable. Others experience may vary. I also don't need to pay 14SS to use him. Besides if I took the twins with all of my neverborn masters my regular opponents would not be happy. Variety is the spice of life...... Or something like that.

  6. Well' date=' there are other benefits to being a Nephilim than just the Blood. For one, a Nephilim can be easily buffed by Nekima or Black Blood Shaman. The later can also heal him. Then there are the smaller things, like ignoring movement penalty in the Illusionary Forest.[/quote']

    I agree. Also dont forget that he can be activated after lilith with broodmother, which could be very handy.

  8. I have only used Killjoy once with zorida and collodi. Turn two I got a wicked doll to teleport to collodi did a move action and then sacrificed to bring killjoy out into the middle of my opponents crew. He was good with zorida as she was able to get a few obeys off before he died. he killed three witchling stalkers, withchling handler, and S hoPkins before dying. Lots of fun. Just make sure you have a card to discard before activating, and keep him closer to the enemy's models than your models. Obey really helps here.

Waldgiests are one of the few tank units that neverborn have. great with forests, being able to move terrain in game is fun and a big advantage. being able to strike through said terrain and potentialy trapping them there provides you with some great area control. armour +2 means they can take some punishment. try them with woods and you will find them handy.
